We lost 4-2 to Barca last pre season then went 10 matches unbeaten.

Not saying we will do it again but this means nothing.

Feeling really confident going into the new season guys. We have clearly addressed our deficiencies of last season.

No, but looks like we’ll have the same issues as last season.

We look exactly the same as last season. The passing out mistakes & set pieces are still killing us. Yes, mistakes will happen when playing out, but the set pieces are unacceptable.

We’ve been open in every single pre season match ive seen. The poor FBs always exposed.

Combined with effing up some promising positions, we should actually have scored 2-3 at the start but some poor decision making from kulu and crap touches from son!

Beat Roma 6-0 and had 2 points from 8 games after

(Do think our tactics are too naive, defence too suspect, forwards too wasteful and midfield too open though)

Yes 100%.

All our issues from last year still exist. Hope solanke can save us!

Not worried cos it's a friendly and 1 of our starting back 4.

But jeebus man not working on set pieces is infuriating

Yeah back four and maybe the midfield will be different.

No need to panic.

I must say that I was expecting the defensive set piece issue to have been solved. Perhaps a bit of common sense on the issue was too much to ask for. It will cost Ange his job.

Hopefully Solanke will be half as good as Kane at defending set peices. Kulu last man there and fell asleep. But I'm still not gonna sleep on him.

How did you think it was going to be sorted?

To give Spence his dues, he's on the wrong side against Bayern. I reckon he'd be useful against half the league who want to sit deep

Johnson needs competition more than anyone.
