I can see why Spurs fans get vexed, you can play like this and it's gravy but inconsistent performances will pash you off? I do think that you maybe need 2,3 other signings that can play the way you want to, whether or not you get them I'd assume is up to the board?

We’re playing a system where you need to have the best players in the league in order to be consistently successful.

We have a chairman that won’t provide that.

It’s an impossibility it will work long term. So you will have nights like tonight or at City and you will have days like losing to Palace, Ipswich and Bournemouth.

A more pragmatic manager would get more out of this squad.

But Ange has created a bit of a cult in the fan base who are giddy at the thought of 10th - I don’t get it, but there you go

Yeah agree, without the best players it won't last, we'll never win anything being quite so open and not adjusting to the state of the game.

That Chelsea game you knew we wouldn't hold on.

The physical impact on the players is also too great, they just cant sustain it.

Soton made it easy for us too. When we need finesse to break teams down we simply don't have it.
