quick sum up...we're now going to win the league and the last x amount of months of dross has all been forgotten and Son is an amazing captain because he's scored a goal...you know, just like Werner did a few matches ago and he's now world class

I always want us to win but it's so cringe listening to those that have incredibly short memories and ridiculous rose tinted spectacles. A Sunday league team could beat Southampton. I'm pleased we will win, means I can watch MOTD, one swallow doesn't make a summer an' all that jazz..

On another note, that thread wasn't about not having Son as captain btw, moreover what is the point of a captain, no ones disputing Son has been a good servant to the club. That won’t be happening though - it’s Levy

If Werner's loan is cancelled there is a chance we will try to sign a new winger. All depends on Odobert's injury, the new Korean lad and availability of wingers I guess.

Surely we have to buy a defender at least.

Maybe we just go down the route of getting some experienced pros on loan till end of season and see where we are at. No point spending money on player when we do know 100% if Ange will still be in charge. If he is then we back him properly.

Thought Bergvall looked much better. He performed well vs Rangers and again today. Encouraging as he's looked very average beforehand.


Also delighted for Spence. Think he has so many attributes and deserves some pitch time.and Porro needs resting as his form is a bit meh.

Nice to see.Dorrington on at the end. Learned an important lesson after a stray pass lead to their offside goal. Shame.Moore is injured. He would have had a lot of game time recently.

Don't read too much into the win. The manner was great and that should breed a bit of confidence but without some key defenders it's going to be tough.

Bentancur appeal to be heard soon???? I think that was game 5, Utd next. May be back for Liverpool if his appeal is successful.
