wolves hired a manager I’ve never heard of, players seem to like him and they’ve taken 7 points from his first 3…. Sounds good to me… I honestly don’t care who we hire as long as he doesn’t play football the way Ange wants to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the same vein am sure you had previously heard of Amorim. How is he doing.??
New manager won’t make a difference. The last 6 years has proved that. We have gone for all types of managers and got nowhere.
New owners, new ideas. New investment Is what is needed. Think and Spend on quality like a big club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All sounds so easy but unless you have 7bln quid Enic aren’t going anywhere… so are you happy with Ange and 12th place ? Yes /no
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haven’t been happy with the position our last 5 managers left us either. You can’t just pluck top managers from trees because you don’t like the current one. They are all not lining up and waiting for the spurs job.
I see Iraolas name been mentioned. The same Iraola that took 10 games to win his 1st Bournemouth game.
Doubt he would have lasted that long with some on here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s ironic - Iraola couldn’t win his first 10 but has gone from strength to strength since then.
Ange - great first 10, pure dog schittt since then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
perhaps Ange can turn it around. He lost me after the ridiculous high line against Chelsea when down to 9 men. That still rankles and never had full faith in him post that.
But still don’t think now is the right time to get rid. With fatigue of players and key personnel missing and the squad still lacking I doubt any incoming manger will make much difference . Am happy to wait I till the Summer and see where we are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah the time to start judging s probably around March time. Lets see what our progress in the league and cups is like around that time. Still plenty of opportunites and the squad should be in better shape then.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
And if not you still have him with 2 more windows don't forget

Also, Davies is 4th choice CB. Having to play a teenage midfielder there. Seriously, why is this even in question? Some impressive gymnastics to blame the manager for it

Blaming the manager for injuries is wild
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So to be clear, you don’t think VDV’s injuries have anything to do with the way we play?
You don’t think we rushed Romero and VDV back before they were ready?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would be the medical department and the player himself giving the green light surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So nothing to do with Ange ?
Righto

I am bored of saying this about our injuries - they are a result of how we’re playing, they have faaack all to do with bad luck
---
Bit of both tbf. Vicario is nothing to do with the style of play. Romero the same. Even VdV. Acting like half the league don't play a high line
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who picked VdV and Romero for Chelsea before they were ready - or was Levy picking that line up? I lose track of the wild conspiracies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not conspiracies man. It was suggested by you that all the injuries are because of the way we play. That's just wrong
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only 2 outfield players missing from Ange’s first 11 are completely down to him.
Vic obviously wasn’t
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the rest of the injuries? Maybe it's a mix of bad luck and individual players bodies and the way we train/play?

How can anyone compare Ange to any of our last few managers. He's 11th and of teams below us win their game in hand we could go 14th.
14th FFS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its always black and white with some fans! Yes the league table and results, very good.
Ange is the only manager in the last five years or so that has started a complete rebuild which was getting rid of a lot of our more experienced players and replacing them with youngsters.
This is clearly going to take time.
The circumstances at the moment are that games are coming think and fast and we have hardly any centre backs and players like Solanke having to play every minute as Richarlison is injured.
Why don't we wait until after the January window at least to see how we strengthen the squad and see how the results go in the new year?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you wish Ramos to be given top the end of the season on 2008?
A rebuild yes, fair enough. But not sitting in 11th and possibly 14th soon is not acceptable. Would you accept relegation but excuse or with a rebuild?
Starting today he still had quality players. He just doesn't get anything out of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's ridiculous as mid table is nothing like fighting relegation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
14th likely soon and looking over out shoulders.
Look, if you are happy with Ange then fair enough. But don't be surprised if some are not. Surely you understand that, whether you agree or not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course I understand that, more now than ever,
what with social media where after a couple of bad results a minority of fans start calling out a manager to a large platform and then you get people following it.
The impatience of fans has to be at an all time high I would say.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Couple of bad results? Our points per game is only marginally better than it was in 2008
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fans on this forum were calling for his head after 4 games this season

Three, as the first is not open yet. I do think it will take three more windows, regardless who the manager is to have a compentant squad capable of competing on all fronts. Plus the younger lads will be more experienced as well by the end of the 3rd window.
I would like Ange to see it through but as I have said before, if he ain't, it is what it is.

Hmm. Dragusin and Gray and Forster quality players? Hmm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kulu, Solanke, Maddison, Sarr, Bentancur, Udogie, Son
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks. What's your point exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same as I keep saying - Ange only has 3 of his first choice 11 missing - yet some would have you believe we are completely bereft
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah like those 3 aren't the CBs and goalkeeper. Like all the other injuries don't impact if we can rotate properly. Like bringing another manager with the same restrictions is going to somehow massively improve those situations
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another managers would change shape, tactics and ball retention levels to compensate or protect.
Less running, drop the high press, mix it up more
It’s not rocket science, it’s just Ange don’t get it

I am bored of saying this about our injuries - they are a result of how we’re playing, they have faaack all to do with bad luck

Because if you change the way because of one player you're facked aren't you. When Romero comes back the whole team changes what they do in and out of possession? The answer is to sign better players.

I would like Ange to see it through but as I have said before, if he ain't, it is what it is.

I am bored of saying this about our injuries - they are a result of how we’re playing, they have faaack all to do with bad luck
---
Bit of both tbf. Vicario is nothing to do with the style of play. Romero the same. Even VdV. Acting like half the league don't play a high line
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who picked VdV and Romero for Chelsea before they were ready - or was Levy picking that line up? I lose track of the wild conspiracies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not conspiracies man. It was suggested by you that all the injuries are because of the way we play. That's just wrong
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean there’s a thing that totally goes against his logic by that Romero went off with a totally different injury to the one he had before
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah players never get injuries as a result of one muscle having to over compensate for another - that’s never happened ever - good one Hengy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s first injury wasn’t a muscular injury it was a toe injury
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, other muscles then compensate so less pressure goes on the affected toe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he should never play again just in case got you.
Enjoy retirement Romero

Also if VdV can't run without his hamstrings going it matters not what tactic or team he's in. They'll always go

wolves hired a manager I’ve never heard of, players seem to like him and they’ve taken 7 points from his first 3….

I am bored of saying this about our injuries - they are a result of how we’re playing, they have faaack all to do with bad luck

Bit of both tbf. Vicario is nothing to do with the style of play. Romero the same. Even VdV. Acting like half the league don't play a high line

Well I agree on this - VDV’s body can’t handle the high line. Dragusin is a great 18 yard box defender, but he can’t play the high line.
So why did Ange green light these signings? Why does Ange persist with the high line with these players ?

I am bored of saying this about our injuries - they are a result of how we’re playing, they have faaack all to do with bad luck
---
Bit of both tbf. Vicario is nothing to do with the style of play. Romero the same. Even VdV. Acting like half the league don't play a high line
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who picked VdV and Romero for Chelsea before they were ready - or was Levy picking that line up? I lose track of the wild conspiracies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not conspiracies man. It was suggested by you that all the injuries are because of the way we play. That's just wrong
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only 2 outfield players missing from Ange’s first 11 are completely down to him.
Vic obviously wasn’t
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the rest of the injuries? Maybe it's a mix of bad luck and individual players bodies and the way we train/play?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I agree on this - VDV’s body can’t handle the high line. Dragusin is a great 18 yard box defender, but he can’t play the high line.
So why did Ange green light these signings? Why does Ange persist with the high line with these players ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because if you change the way because of one player you're facked aren't you. When Romero comes back the whole team changes what they do in and out of possession? The answer is to sign better players.
And we did sit back to try and protect the back line today

wolves hired a manager I’ve never heard of, players seem to like him and they’ve taken 7 points from his first 3….
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Three, as the first is not open yet. I do think it will take three more windows, regardless who the manager is to have a compentant squad capable of competing on all fronts. Plus the younger lads will be more experienced as well by the end of the 3rd window.
I would like Ange to see it through but as I have said before, if he ain't, it is what it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
17 more windows
We didn’t lose

I mean there’s a thing that totally goes against his logic by that Romero went off with a totally different injury to the one he had before
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah players never get injuries as a result of one muscle having to over compensate for another - that’s never happened ever - good one Hengy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s first injury wasn’t a muscular injury it was a toe injury
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, other muscles then compensate so less pressure goes on the affected toe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he should never play again just in case got you.
Enjoy retirement Romero

Also if VdV can't run without his hamstrings going it matters not what tactic or team he's in. They'll always go

Starting today he still had quality players. He just doesn't get anything out of them.
---
Hmm. Dragusin and Gray and Forster quality players? Hmm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kulu, Solanke, Maddison, Sarr, Bentancur, Udogie, Son
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks. What's your point exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same as I keep saying - Ange only has 3 of his first choice 11 missing - yet some would have you believe we are completely bereft
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah like those 3 aren't the CBs and goalkeeper. Like all the other injuries don't impact if we can rotate properly. Like bringing another manager with the same restrictions is going to somehow massively improve those situations
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another managers would change shape, tactics and ball retention levels to compensate or protect.
Less running, drop the high press, mix it up more
It’s not rocket science, it’s just Ange don’t get it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's exactly what we did. Are you sure you watched the game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No we didn’t, players were still running about like lunatics, just we set up deeper - did you watch the game?

Strike had steam coming out of his eyes in the second half so couldn't see properly. Leave him lads

Has Ange written back yet?
