Sherwood has seen that the 4-5-1 we have been playing this season just hasn't worked. He's changed it to 442 and it has worked. Goals have been scored. Would we have battered Stoke 3-0 under AVB playing 451, not a chance
All the Gooons on here were hoping we'd line up 442 because they knew their midfield would walk thorough us, and they did.
Sherwood went for it today, but we lost out to the better side

We werent playing stoke at home today were we though?
We were playing Arsenal

What a surprise, lose because of ridiculous mistakes and Clattenburg doesn't give us a pen which I thought was stonewall
Agreed Kent, doesn't get much more obvious than that.
Why did we start with 4-4-2 but then take off Soldado when we went 2-0 down?

The chances that Adebayor and Eriksen missed
Eriksen should of scored.
Tbh I don't think we was as bad as people making out
Hardly clear cut that Ade chance though!
we had virtually no cutting edge from what i saw.
If Soldado missed that chance that Ade had though everyone would be going mental
We were just outplayed in midfield, and there was no point in 442 as neither of the front two had a good game.
Then we had two defence errors which were punished.
Pretty straight forward for the Woolwhich.
We was a bit blunt sure but score that early chance totally different game.
Looking forward to the palace game now
I am of the same opinion as sandy, I dont think we played too bad today, eriksen chance, ade {who I hope was just jaded and not back to his old caantish self) lossing his footing and individual mistakes aside, if we were as bad as some on here think we were we should have been hammered by the league leaders
I'd have bit your hand off for one win and a loss from the last two games though

To be fair we never paid 26m for Ade
I think a nice few weeks break will do wonders for the players & fans
