Cambiasso is a considerably better player. Inler is pretty poor.

Rate Inler, still can do a job in a team not at the same standard as Napoli

No disrespect to Leicester

Cambiasso was a world class player in his day, Inler wasn't that's the difference. Can Inler do a job for us? Absolutely. He was excellent when I watched him for Switzerland in the World Cup, and fantastic for Napoli two seasons ago.

Granted last year he didn't play much, but it's silly to suggest someone Liverpool were trying to get in January this year is a poor player

posted on 22/8/15

Thud, none taken, you're right, he could do a job for us but not good enough for Napoli anymore.

He won't play week in week out for us either, he will be competing with Kante

posted on 22/8/15

Why does it make them a good player if Liverpool were going for them? Liverpool signed Downing, does that make him good?

Honestly, watching Napoli I don't think Inler is very good at all. Been carried by the rest of his team, 31 isn't particularly old for a midfielder. There is a reason why no-one is interested.

Blackstarr, think it's an exciting time for Leicester and you're doing what we need to do, we need an experienced head in midfield who's played at a high level.

Leicester are definitely better than Inler.

You've seen how some players struggle at a top club with world class players, stick a decent player in there and he'll play poorly.

Stick him in a club like Leicester and he'll be good

Anyway, my opinion anyway

Wijnaldum is looking decent for Newcastle, would have been great for us and what we need. I've got a feeling they've picked up a gem there

What are you on about? He had loads of clubs in for him and Leicester wasn't his first choice. He almost ended up at Schalke instead of us. It's well known that around 6 clubs were trying to get him

I've watched Napoli a lot and it's ridiculous to suggest the rest of the team carried him. With the exception of last season, where he didn't play much, he's been one of their best players. Speak to the Napoli fans, they love him. Generally a good sign.

I heard all the same garbage about Cambiasso when inter released him from so called expert fans

Napoli don't really have world class players at all. He had a good first season at Napoli, but been really poor aside from that.

Absolute garbage edinspur and totally opposed to what Napoli fans say.

Well our resident Napoli fan, 4za, doesn't rate him firstly. Secondly he has been a long way off their best players, poor creatively, Switzerlands Jenas.

Edin's on a wum clearly

posted on 22/8/15

Hahaha 4za!? You mean the biggest wum on 606? The guy who goes around posting that mourinho has been sacked, pedro has failed his medical etc?

I can tell you now that 4za is NOT a Napoli fan!

posted on 22/8/15

I can't believe you're swallowing what 4za says!!

He's about as credible as Hafi!!

I don't know who this bloke is. Comes on a Spurs thread, and gets his knickers in a twist because I don't rate Inler. Using arguments like 'speak to Napoli fans' and 'Liverpool were linked with him', really isn't going to do much to sway my judgement.

Firstly I'm on here because it's a Spurs v Leicester match thread.

Secondly you've written off our new signing which you're entitled to do, but you've based part of your view on speaking to one of the biggest wums on this board!

COYS. Kane to get on the scoresheet and N'Jie to play some positive part.

Can't afford to lose this game.

He's available according to BBC Thudd, so I'm hoping he's on the bench. Poch can't be that stupid, can he?

posted on 22/8/15

He's available for selection and Poch has said he's fit and ready so think we will see him at some point.
