Capoue of Sandro.
Is he like vennigor of hesselink?
If I see spurs players on the club website next week saying " we have to get it right next weekend" I am going to go f ***** mad!!!!
We are, you reckon that defeat was poch's tactics or lack of another striker?

You cannot take a team like Stoke on with 2 players like Chadli and Erikson on the pitch. They simply dont have the heart or will to win. There is no way they were going to roll their sleeves up and compete for every ball which is what was needed.
Yes I do question Poch and have for the last year

Lamela was our only real attacking replacement available as we sold Soldado yesterday
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The problems started before Kane went off we lost the midfield totally as soon as the 2nd half started. eriksen was totally anonymous AGAIN Chadli went on the missing list. Neither full back had any cover in front of them and the only person to stick a foot in second half was Dier. Thats our problem no bottle and no heart in midfield
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't disagree with the lack of a leader in midfield, it's the biggest problem with trusting in youth. Kane going off made it worse as we had nobody to hold the ball up and we have no pace on the wings to provide relief.
Dembele did well in the first half but I still don't see him as the answer to our problems on the right. Lamela is in the last chance saloon now.
I get what you say about Eriksen and Chadli, however they manage to hide the fact they're not imposing themselves on a game by chipping in with goals

Poor defending, from the defenders, the ones on the pitch...Not the manager.
BTW Davis is not good enough either, I appreciate he gets little or no cover but he is simply not good enough.
I miss real wingers and being great on the counter attack. Inverted wingers might be fashionable but they make a side too narrow and constrict the play in the opposition half

Yes if you are naive enough to let the odd goal gloss over the fact that as midfield players they simply dont do enough.
Something from left field here.
Fellaini is surplus to requirements at Man U... it's not a wum, he would be ideal signing for Spurs

Yes if we want to forget about football and resort to thuggery he would be ideal

Its not just down to them though. I still remember when Bake starting cutting in and becoming more central...Modric was a lot less effective as the space to create and the gaps to play into just disapeared
There's always a bunch of reasons why Spurs implode. Poor individual decisions on the pitch, poor tactics, poor transfer business. The results are the same but the ratios change.
Said in the week , players like dembele are luxurys who give fk all when defending
---------------------------------------------------------------
Not as luxurious as Eriksen and Chadli.
Vertonghen
I agree completely, I dont like the inverted wingers system either. Use the full width of the pitch I say
Second half midfield goes missing when the going gets tough. Full backs no protection especially for Walker. Manager standing on the touch line like a rabbit caught in headlights no idea how to counter what was happening on the pitch. Typical abject Spurs capitulation.

Last few pages were certainly an interesting read lol
will things ever change
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not as long as we choose managers with negative tactics that think only of not losing instead of going out to win especially at home. We have been dreadful to watch since the day AVB was appointed and we began this 4-5-1 load of crap
