My main worry is Carroll. Everytime I see him he looks like a boy playing against men. Even in the under 21 tournement he looked out of place. He needs to man up fast.

Poch obviously doesn't care about the league cup. Or the nld.

Can't see us getting any joy with that team. Is Kane gonna have to play every single game too?

smoggy. didnt see you on here after the weekend.. i guess you only come around when you want to moan.

wenger hasn't put out a full team either… does he not care about the NLD? tbh… derbies matter to the fans only, and the odd player if they are a fan of either club, as rare as that is.

about the line up. Prefer to at full strength and get roasted by City. It's knockout and a NLD.

This.

So that you can complain about Pochettino when we miss out of fourth and get knocked out a cup?

Bunch of moaning children. Arsenal isn't full strength and even have a weaker bench than ours. There's every chance we can win this and also give Man City a challenge on the weekend.

I'm not moaning or a child FFS

Just would prefer to beat Arsenal than save players for City, where we aren't exactly bookies favourites.

Yes right its really childish to want us to play a full strength side against our most bitter rivals in the only competition we have won in the last decade.

How stupid of us children to want us to go flat out in probably the only competition we stand a realistic chance of winning

Did you see Son when he came off on the weekend? Looked like he'd lived in the desert for a month. Some players need rests and considering Arsenal are not at full strength then its not too much of a problem.

Spurs are better prepared with a stronger bench compared to Arsenal if it looks like we are struggling. Fazio isn't a bad centre back for fans to be moaning about him and Wimmer played well in that Europa League game, they're up against Giroud not Aguero.

Lloris should of started and should of given Kane a rest really.

With Chadli starting I can only suspect he will be benched against City.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right after playing about 6 games this season he is tired so much for the fitness of the modern day footballer when they used to play 65 games a season on pitches that were a lot heavier.

Bunch of wimps just like most of our damned fans nowadays.

Rested when the season is a month old What a joke

You may be right Hybrid, Chadli rested with Son, Eriksen and Lamela as the front three, after the last game Lamela should keep his place against City.

When did Spurs ever play 65 games a season?

The majority of players from the 1920s or whichever era you would like to refer too would never make it as professional in the modern game.

Of course players need a rest, you can see the difference between European teams and UK teams after the winter window.

Players like Wimmer, Fazio etc. need game time as well can't simply play your first 11 every single game and forget about anyone else.

When the players were men Steve Perryman played 66 games one season in the 80's, know your history before you comment.

Athletico won the spanish league and reached the CL final with a squad of about 15 a couple of years back.

Maybe the spanish players are a bit tougher
