Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is keen to bring Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov back to White Hart Lane but manager Tim Sherwood is reluctant on a move for the 32-year-old.
Tottenham could make a move for Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin, 27, after the Italian side rejected Manchester United's earlier offer for the Colombian
( even though I'm pretty sure he's already gone to juventus in a swap with Vucinic )
What's your line up ( everybody Fit )
Lloris
Walker Kaboul Verts Rose
====== Sandro =======
Lennon Dembele Townsend
==== Eriksen
======= adebayor
That's mine.
Got tickets for the NLD!!
Same XI as against Swansea
Kent nice one
Your best 11 ( can choose anyone ) is the same v Swansea?
Yes. Kaboul and vert had a shocker last time v City and are less for this time around. Sandro not played in a while, easier to have Bentaleb playing. Chadli same reason.

I meant our strongest 11 in general not for Saturday
woah Hengy - thats a bit of a deep hard question mate.
I think my opinion changes to the opposition
Fpr example i think Dembele and Sandro work better than Sandro and Paulinho or Dembele and Paulinho - but Dembele and Paulinho are more creative together
What im saying in a round about way is "Im faked if I know"

So was AVB
Bit seriously it's a balance between playing a similar team week in and out, and matching up against the opposition. I think AVBs main weakness was not adapting his tactics esp at home against the weaker teams.
Tim's had a good opening to his tenure, which breeds confidence within the squad. Actually looking forwards to the City game now
Mighty
the constant rotation of the team meant none of the new players gelled - Tim seems to understand this better.
Maybe the fact he is an ex player gives him insight AVB could never have
oddiY
Playing with belief in themselves at last - even if it has been against some of lower teams - which will hopefully stand the in good stead next week
Mighty, its a diferent team isnt it - the shackles are off and they flow ...the players express themselves, rather than play a rigid system - And I hopeTim will be working on Soldado and Lamela, behind the scenes - there is an air pf positivity at the Lane, but i think City will be a step too far, they are irresistible at the moment.

oddiY - Great to see Ade playing with such enthusiasm and a smile on his face. I know City are looking strong - can't see anybody but them for the PL - imagine if we somehow win . The wumming will be epic!!!
Wumming would be mandatory if we won
Im a glass half empty sort of Spurs fan, learned that over the years .. a good performance whilst avoiding a spanking would be a result to be fair .
I know city are playing well and look champions elect but we are tottenham hotspur and are at white hart lane. We also beat them last season.
What im trying to say is we are a big club too and should be expecting a tottenham win.
LLM.............................Quite right. If we go out with a defeatist attitude then will definitely lose!

I wish I was feeling the confidence
If we put on a good performance, and play with belief, then I will be happy
