Really struggling to understand the negativity... 'Need to beat midtable teams'. Arsenal lost against West Brom, and they are nailed on top 4!

It's a solid result. We are developing into a very solid team. We are definitely top 4 contenders, which at the start of the season looked unrealistic.

Draws are always going to happen, the league is so strong. Look at how United were lucky to get a point against a team we wiped the floor with a couple of weeks ago..

Not a terrible result but great either. Have to beat the toon next week and we really need a run of wins

It would be nice to win all these draws...

...but, we're a toung team, Alli, Son, Toby new into it this year, Dier not a natural in his position but playing like it. Homegrown players regularly on the pitch or bench.

Nobody was saying we had a shot at top 4 this year, and yes it's wide open, but I'm just enjoying this year.

Great teamwork, looking hard to beat, no drubbings (or even losses since day1)

How short are peoples memories if we're criticising this team after the position they've put themselves in.

Great season for us so far and I'm loving it!

Can't justify our result just because another team did the same or worse. We here trying to do better than our rivals.....

And Arsenal will get top four :/

Disappointing result in the end against a pumped up WBA who played with attitude and application albeit at times over aggressive, Brunt could easily have seen red for the challenge on Dembele. All in all a point each about right.

From our point of view Harry had a below par performance and seemed frustrated and at times trying too hard when he should just play it simple. Eriksen and Alli also off the pace and I thought Lamela was wrongly brought off instead of Eriksen.

The substitutions had little effect and we were under pressure right til the end. We needed someone to produce a bit of magic but today no one stepped up and we had to be reluctantly satisfied with a hard earned point which the best to be said is that we manage to extend our unbeaten run.

Exactly pointless comparing us to arsenal as they will always end up getting the results required for top 4 where as spurs will always end up dropping points. I'm liking this season a lot but we need to start winning a few games in a row.

And that's a big problem as we have no plan B upfront. Clinton Njie and Son are not strikers and never have been. Spurs need to buy a striker ASAP.

Son is listed as a striker Don.

posted on 5/12/15

He's not a proper striker and never has been. He's a wing forward and has played in that position throughout his career

At least Chronic cannot blame a long Europa trip for the dropped points today. Team have had a week`s rest and still didn`t win.

6 points behind Leicester.

Still feel we will have a good season as long as we stay relatively injury free and most importantly of all we get another striker to take some of the burden off Harry. We cannot expect or rely on him alone to be our main goal threat every game. That is unfair on the lad and in some games, today for example, I think the pressure gets to him and he tries too hard and results in a below par performance.

I thought Kane should have had a pen, the Albion defender pulled him back when he was about to score

Oh pipe down chicken you stupid caaaant you are the one on here complaining about lamela get again you priiiick. Furthermore my point was made last week when lloris and kane both took to Twitter to explain that the team was tired for the chelsea game. But that doesn't suit your agenda so you ignore it.

Arsey aside you are the worst poster on here mate and at least at the start your cluelessness was amusing but now it's just boring.

What flawed logic sandy . Anyway both lloris and kane took to Twitter last week to agree with me that they were tired for the chelsea game, but I guess you know how they feel better than they do Eh? Faaacking hell I am surrounded by idiots here.

Chronic is a liar. A. Neither Kane or Lloris said they agreed with anyone on JA606. And B. No player said they were tired for the Chelsea game.

Chronic gives his opinion on performances even though he admits he doesn't even watch the game itself.

What a loyal supporter he is. What a pilchard.

Chicken accusing Lamela for a drab team performance, what a surprise

===================

Lamela was rated 5/10 in the morning paper so maybe my judgment is a reasonable one - and maybe its others on here who need to take their head out the sand....

http://www.thesportreview.com/tsr/2015/12/hugo-lloris-why-tottenham-were-disappointed-with-chelsea-draw/

"If you look at the context it’s a good point, but even with the tiredness in our side we were better than them,” Lloris told Tottenham’s website.

“We showed more qualities. We tried to play but unfortunately we couldn’t score and the feeling in the changing room is one of disappointment.

“On the pitch we feel that, despite the European game, we had control of the match. We weren’t as fresh as we normally are but at the end of the day when you can’t win it’s important not to lose.”
