Hengy I know we won't and I am used to it. That's why there won't be any good news until some transfer window in the distant future.

Trouble is the club keeps transfers close to their chests so we have no idea if we're already in for someone. I get the impression we have a few possibles on the go, at various prices, and Poch's comments today were a nudge to make him go all out to get his first choice.

Poch has said that if he had two top class strikers then he would play them together, so you never know.

That's my point FBK...he seemed to be emphasising the sort of striker he wants. In his words, an "unbelievable" striker

its comments like this why you have no credibility. he was NOWHERE near our worst player today… infact he was one of the few looking to make things happen.

our worst players today were kyle walker, toby A, davies, and tom carroll who was largely anonymous.

There was a moment in the game when he had possession on the right hand side near the box and the defender showed him the entire half of the box knowing Lamela would and could never use his right foot to even go near this 10 square foot of space - and instead he passed it backwards.

Note I'm not getting personal to any other poster but this player is simply awful and is massively hindering our progress.

We are playing with 10 men and a passenger - and it shows!

How about slotted an inch perfect pass for Harry Kane who missed his one on one? not his fault Harry couldn't score that p*** easy chance. Andros Townsend dosen't have the brain let alone ability to thread a pass like that. Lamela was the bright spark and actually looked like one of the more lively players.

Absolutely. And he deserves credit for that pass. But IMO it's just not enough to warrant playing 90 minutes in almost every single league game.

For every good pass (1) he makes 20+ more mistakes or decisions.

He did use his right foot once - so i give him credit for that too.

No I dont think he had a good game but I still think Carroll and Eriksen had poorer games than he did so its not a case of 10 players carrying one player IMO.

As I just posted on another thread, I do agree with you that Eriksen has also been below par this season and I have brought up many times that he gets far more slack than some of the other easy targets / scapegoats in the squad. He is getting a little bit more stick creeping in but it’s nothing compared to what someone like Townsend would get.
