Ranieri must be in the running for the most likeable PL manager award. The guy always gives a good interview, he's honest and gracious in defeat. Can't help thinking he's one of the main reasons behind Leicester's popularity this season.

Vertonghen Groove

Well said mate. Ranieri is a credit to Leicester and English football.

A true gentleman, honest, and a great loser.

Wish more managers were like him and I'm glad he's back in England.

Hopefully Bentaleb will get more game time. Was fantastic tonight ( after a bad first 10 mins )

Great result. So much for playing our strongest team for every game - 2 goals and kept a clean sheet.

Wimmer looks very decent

This...and it gave some of our fringe players much needed game time

You got to play Son. Thst 2nd goal today he set up, reminded me of Berbatov. Son is class.

There's a question over what our strongest team is anyway. Some people think Davies is 1st team over Rose and vice versa. Some think Trippier would be better than Walker. Lamela didn't have the best game today, while Son did, and Chadli scored. Any of those 3 could start on Sat.

The good thing is the squad players are getting games and looking good themselves some of them. Carroll, Wimmer doing well, and Vorm with a better performance today.

Surely Lamela will be dropped for Saturday 3 games in 7 days Son looks more of a threat at the moment.

Vorm did well, all he needs is game time. Never got the negativity towards him as he was always a good keeper before he joined us.

Son impressed tonight, certainly pushing for a start now.

Wimmer looks solid, definitely our third choice now.

Eriksen was hit and miss tonight, some lovely play and a number of passes that went astray or were overhit.

Carroll still looks lightweight to me, he's technically good and industrious but too easy beaten in the tackle. Shame because I like him and would happily be proved wrong.

Off night for Lamela, made a couple of poor decisions and didn't really create a great deal.

Yeah I'd drop Lamela.

Would play this team for Palace:

Lloris

Walker Vert Aldy Rose

Dier Dembele

Son Eriksen Chadli

Kane

Like it.
Eriksen deserves a shot centrally with decent runners ahead of him.

Doubt we'll see that, but looks good to me.

I'd probably go for similar, the only positions I would consider changing are the full backs but all 4 have their merits

Almost as bad as the BBC's 'Anything can happen' slogan' and they chose to show an all premier league tie

I'd give Eriksen a shot due to his good form lately - 3 goals in 3 games. Got to try him at number 10.

Chadli would play just cause he scored today and want to see if he can expand on that. Alli unfortunately misses out.

Full backs are a bit of a toss up really. Rose edges it cause of his forward play which got us 2 assists against Sunderland. Walker over Trippier because he was chosen after eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

Is the Colchester game on TV with it being the 12.45 kick off?
