This time last year we got knocked out Europa and lost a cup final. Just hope we don't do a losing double again as it can breed a losing mentality.

An 'easier' tie would be nice as we've had the Saints, Stoke and Tot but i'm guessing it'll be one of the above.
The 'Favours Arsenal Cup' draws are getting a bit tedious tbh.
Shrewsbury would be good in the next round but they'll probably end up at The Emirates

Spurs would have had to face Reading. If ever a chance for Spurs to get to a cup final it was this season. I hate the way the competition has been dismissed yet again this season.

The team today was strong enough to win - we just didn't take our very good chances. That is the players fault - not manager. Do you ever get anything right sandy?

How did we dismiss it? We played Dier, Wimmer, Walker, Rose, Son, Dembele, Eriksen, Chadli, Kane, Alli.

Lamela and Lloris weren't available, which leaves only Aldy as one of the key players missing out. The team was still strong enough to win and we had the chances to.

Let's just accept we can't win every single game.

Actually, guess what? Even Barcelona don't win every game.

I'm upset/annoyed as every other supporter but considering the season we are having its pretty easy to get over.

Hengy, I'm surprisingly calm about this defeat. I guess I expected us to lose at some point, and do see the positive in not having the build up of games that we would have had with this competition as well.

Would have been worse to have got through another couple of rounds and then lost to Chelsea or someone.
