If we had to go out of a cup I would have preferred to have gone out of the Europa but we are where we are lets hope we get back to form for our next game

They flew to Italy not the bleeding moon . The flight time would have taken about the same as a coach drive to Newcastle.

Be honest Chronic, you do love a poor result following a Europa League match so you can post your usual kneejerk reaction .

The result could have easily been different had we converted our chances and not conceded a poor goal. That’s just football. But I very much doubt it had anything to do eating spaghetti carbonara at a different dinner time slot.

the simple facts are that we always seem to struggle after Thursday games, whether rightly or wrongly.

Errrr I'm well aware of that. Arsenal are in with a chance of winning the league. So I take it they are going to play a youth team against barca? Just going by your logic here. Regardless wether we could win the league, we also could win the Europa. Strong sides for the remainder of the season like any team does if they were in the CL

I didn't see yesterdays game you are right, but I have seen all the other games after Europa league for the past however many years and we are always sluggish.

from all reports I have read, plus what has been said on here, we were sluggish in front of goal and at the back yesterday... which emphasizes my point.
