the one thing I still cannot get is why on earth did we go so strong last round only to go weak now? that's the weird thing (not the fact that we have gone weak)

We didn't go that strong away to Fiorentina as I recall. No Dembele or Kane at home (admittedly through injury)

They just held Bayern to a draw at the weekend and really could of won it

when we were shiiiiit we beat man u 3-1 once when steve carr scored that goal.... that was the united treble winning side....


look at the league table and the points between Bayern and Dortmund.

they are not on the same level as them.

rose and walker is very much subjective as to quality of player v trippier and davies. very similar indeed.

alli suspended. dembele just back from injury and needs to be managed.

so your only real claims are kane dier and lamela... and tbh chadli son eriksen is a perfectly fine attacking trio.

I don't understand Poch sometimes. Lamela is toilet 99.9 percent of the time in the Prem BUT has been brilliant in the EL, yet he starts him in the last 2 important league games - and leaves him out tonight. I don't get that.

I know Bentaleb has been dodgy this season but I think a Bentaleb/Mason combo is more varying than a Mason/Carroll combo and also has more experience. They are all really the same type of player for one position but just think that combo is a bit stronger in terms of dealing with DM cover.
