Lamela is so overrated because people hope that he is the answer to all our troubles.

Hard to judge if someone is overrated when he's struggled to settle and really poorly managed so far.

Signed contract to come in summer then suddenly came in jan instead and was thrown straight in a struggling team with just bale doing anygood.

Played in a variety of positions in a on off state.

I remember in that game v Norwich loads were slagging Bale off, I defended him, then he scored that worldy and went on a ridiculous run

I watched a fair bit of Roma last season. Hengy...Lamela is highly talented and worth being patient over. If he can't adapt to the PL then there will be plenty of foreign clubs wanting to sign him.

Yes you could argue Holtby has been poorly managed, so a loan is probably the best thing we could have done for him and us. A loan for Lamela makes no sense if settling in is the problem, he'd have to do it all over again.

I weren't keen on holtby but he won me around with some decent performances

One of the twitter itks said yesterday that Sherwood isn't keen on signing anyone because he wants to prove AVB wrong and get top 4 with the same squad, if that's true it's facking pathetic

Tbh I weren't bothered about signings just didn't want anyone going.

We've got a league and Europa battle on our hands and a poor injury record. WE NEED EVERYONE

It seems Sherwood thinks the way to Levy's heart is to do the opposite of AVB in everything and spend nothing.

If not, then we're looking at clearing out deadwood and let a new manager pick his own players in the summer
