Carroll actually has a decent touch and can pass forward despite being lightweight. Of course he's better than Mason who is league one level

The problem with Spurs is that the absolute first XI is fine, but make even one, or sometimes two changes, and the team is shambolic. This has been going on for two or three seasons now. Spurs really need to up the quality of their squad. Players like Mason, Son are really just not first XI material.

The season has still been good, CL qualification, but FFS they cannot go through next season with the same squad players, they are simply not good enough. Kane needs some help badly up front.
