If the two Manchester teams win tomorrow the top 6 gap is so tight.
This weekend game is a must win with pool after
Regardless of whos featured in each game the City, Wycombe and Sunderland performances have all been iffy. We need to get back on track against Boro with a West Brom at home type performance.
My god that was poor from Spurs. No ideas, no creativity and it was like playing with nine men because Alli and Kane probably had their poorest games in a Spurs shirt.
Son and Eriksen tried but were poor when it mattered.
I know it's not Wanyama's duty to score goals but that's two sitters he has missed (one at old Trafford).
Dembele by far our best player tonight.
Absolutely no options off the bench attacking wise. Janssen only trusted for last 5 minutes says it all really.
I know other results went our way tonight but that was poor Spurs very poor.
The fact other results went our way makes it even more annoying.
I don't have a good word to say for any of our forward players.
You and me both Grand no argument there. Harry for me being the worst culprit. Not getting enough good service tonight doesn't wash with me. He was so ponderous.
I'd take Jermaine Defoe back in a heartbeat too. I was shh-it scared of him all night.

I never get this comment.
I would be far more annoyed if Arsenal won. The other results make me feel a lot better about things

It's an opportunity missed surely.
But it's an opportunity missed regardless of other results. The cost of the missed opportunity is lessened due to other results.
Cup half full. It all depends on how you view things tbh.
Rose went of with a twisted knee according to poch

I kind of get what you're saying but I feel that on a night when our rivals drop points not getting a win against the bottom of the table team is a missed opportunity. A waste of a chance to gain something on our main competition.
Fat lot of good the training trip to Barcelona did to help the cause.
I still don't think we can rely on Kane totally when it matters.

We should have won this one.
Really annoying!
Sunderland parked the bus, no doubt, but even so .....
Alli and Kane seemed to be out of ideas.
Son and Wanyama and Dembele worked hard, as did Walker. Well everyone worked hard, but not much by way of ideas.
I think Pochettino has to give Janssen more time on the pitch if the guy's gonna get a goal. And Sissoko.
But I found myself asking at the end of this match .......
how come teams like Barcelona score against teams that "park the bus", and ... we don't?
Title was never on. Its a disappointing result, sure. But we have progressed from lingering behind the top four or five to cementing a place there. At least if we finish in a similar position to last season.
Unfortunately, there is a further gap from cementing top four to winning the title. Leicester were an anomaly but you generally need players with a quality to create goals in any circumstance and consistently too.
We don't have enough of these players and the ones we do arent consistent enough throughout the entire campaign to win the league.
Its Sunderland though. We really should have won but onto the next, as long as we keep trying to overtake Chelsea we won't be looking behind.

Is this a wind up mate?
Barca have Suarez, Busquets, Messi, Neymar etc
It's more frustrating that they should of been down to 10 men
Costly draw. Such a good a chance to make a bit of ground on Chelsea but we blew it.
Heart sunk when Rose got injured. Not only was he really lively at the time, but it meant Davies coming on, and the gap in quality between the 2 just keeps getting bigger.
Unfortunately you get games like this when your star players don't see much of the ball and you need someone else to rescue us the point. That chance fell to Wanyama and he blew it.
May as well concentrate on Europe and FA Cup then.

No Windup.
Our good players may not be as good as Barca's good players, but ..... Alli, Dembele, Wanyama, Son, and Kane together with Walker and Rose, should be able to get a goal against Sunderland .... don't you think?
I saw a lack of incisive passing going forward today. We allowed them to get back into the bus position.

Even Barcelona lose games or draw games occasionally, but they might do it less than us because they have world class players who can change games. We do not have any world class players, in my opinion.
