Gent are woeful though. It demeans the competition to have them go through. They were almost completely dominated by a 10 man team playing at a neutral venue.

Gent are woeful, yet over two legs they scored more goals than you did, your main striker scored at the wrong end and you had a man sent off. Just proves superiority on paper counts for nothing in football.
Have not been so heartened by a 'defeat' for a long time.
Other than the very peculiar set of circumstances that occurred we would have won that match and tie at a canter.
I really liked how much Poch and the team wanted that. The bizarre OG and Dele's recklessness cost us. However, this is the last 32 so I don't mind us going out now. If this were a quarter final I would be annoyed.
Fully expect us to beat Stoke on Sunday.
Realistically we were never going to win the Europa League essentially playing every fixture away from home. I'm gutted we're out and I might be trying to find the positives but if we had any chance of doing it we'd need the Lane, no question. FA Cup and top 4, I'd take that!
You can't knock the effort the lads put in but decision making and composure in the final third has been a problem for a long time. The number of shots that balloon over the crossbar is embarrassing. Too often brawn rather than finesse is the option taken. The number of goals to shots ratio is terrible.
As for Poch it's hard to blame him when he's improved us in the main but I'm still often baffled by some of the things he does. Keeping Dier on for so long and putting Janssen on for two minutes when we were desperate for goals was bewildering. It's almost vindictive the way he's used Janssen as a substitute bringing him on so often so late.
Very disappointed to go out over two legs to such a lowly team in such a manner.

Seems to me he's trying to get him to put in a transfer request.
Last time we beat Stoke at WHL Sherwood was manager
Let's change that today
Good Morning Gents
After the midweek disappoint of going out of Europe, we return to the EPL. Stoke will be well up for this game, they've had a good rest period and Mark Hughes is a good manager in my opinion.
I want a serious reaction from the players and Poch, we need 3 points here so need to be on it from the off.
Tottenham 2-1.. COYS!!
Think we'll go to a back 4 or stay with the 3?

Would Sissoko be a better option at LWB than Davies?

Any thought that puts Sissoko on the pitch is more of a nightmare
