I'd say Lucas was our worst performer and he was fine

No way can players like Winks, Lamela and Sissoko be anything other than squad players when everybody is fit. They just aint got any creativity between them.

Only when Eriksen came on did the game change. We never really looked like scoring until the last 20 minutes.

I thought Lucas was awful today, just did nothing. Same with Lamela.

Not saying he didn`t play OK, just is not creative enough. Eriksen created more when he came on, than Winks, Sissoko, Lamela etc did all match. You need that extra bit of vision to break teams down. You can have a team of triers, but you need real creativity to break down defences at times.

Eriksen & winks are two totally different players that play two different positions

Winks is a holding midfielder who’s job is to collect the ball and move it on to the Eriksens type.

Lamela didnt have the best game but he did set the second up. played Kane through on that one that he missed.

I mean I dont think he wants to stay but i dont think hes gonna pout about not being sold - will just get on with it

I'd just slide Dele into eriksens spot if he moves on

Still not convinced by the diamond no matter the midfielders because the 2 up front doesnt seem to work in most games for me. Very narrow and kane plays better when freed up and alone

I dont really think we play with much more width in the 4231

Well no sandy because football doesnt work that way

You needed a midfielder who is going to sit deep and sceeen

4231

Double pivot means less onus on limited players offensively to get forward and they can cover full backs who provide width.

Ndombele looked better in this formation.

The 3 behind the striker can drift in and interchange with good movement. Dele, eriksen, son, lucas, lamela and lo celso could do this.

Kane better up top by himself with runners behind or joining him.

Kane

Very flexible and interchangeable but gets best of Kane and most creative players
