The bottom line is Aurier isn't good enough and needs to be upgraded. A performance here and there where he looks solid isn't enough when he gets exposed badly in another performance.

My take on the first half

Our defence goes into panic stations at any set piece, especially corners. Hugo flaps a lot.

Our forwards are horrendously bad at finishing off chances.

Dier and Winks do anything but stop the opposition walking straight past them.

Son should be taken off penalty duty, his run up is a joke, and WTF does he have to do that silly stop start rubbish.


Other than that 2-1 up, so cannot complain too much.

Sandy, you are honestly incapable of saying anything negative towards Aurier ain’t you ? When you have you’re favourites, you make it bloody obvious don’t you mateDier I agree, but Winks is playing ok.

I will admit Aurier, had a poor first 10 minutes, but then he settled down nicely. I am more concerned about Toby at the back right now. Although he did redeem himself with the opening goal, after the rest of our forwards could not hit a barn door.

Although Villa had a couple of really decent chances. Spurs themselves had three or four and should really be winning by more than 2-1.

First 20 mins villa were all over us and they missed a sitter for 2-0.

After we scored we had a lot of chances and Dele missed some great chances

Wonder what Mourinho thinks of Sons penalty technique. Im sure Pogba missed a few under him as well
