No one can deny since Sherwood has taken over we have looked far better in attack. Yes we look awful in defence but it wasen't much better under AVB either this season. Summer we will probably get Van Gaal (I hope) but if Sherwood does keep the job then he will get my full support

"Didn't seem to make much difference with Arry though"

Not as pro Arry as you may have believed.
Some of the broadsheets quite a few weeks before season end were opening discussing the merits of the FA for not yet appointing Arry as Spurs were in PL freefall.

Only a select bunch though. The majority from what I could tell were up for Harry being the next manager from pundits and fans alike.

Timmy may in time develop into a decent PL manager.
But at Spurs, at this particular time, is an indulgence we can ill-afford.

"he thinks we can still get 4th"

There is much of April 2010 about the season now.
The Poool will either slaughter us, or the fools hope will live on until another <standard> can be concocted.

Don tell me about it. So frustrating watching Lennon's balls not find their targets on a constant basis. Any smidgen of excitement he offered has evaporated.

We desperately need upgrades on the flanks.

I really dont want Sherwood in. Like the bloke a lot, just think AVB was 100times better a manager.

The Siggy change, while being commendable. Was relatively obvious, Dembele was just so off the pace! Plus going 2 goals down in the first half at home is poor.

Still, a wins a win and Sherwood definitely left the right players on the field.

But at this time we haven't, so what's the point of keep moaning about it?

Select, in they called it correctly.

Sherwood still gets positives in my book despite probably not being the man to take us forward. He has given Adebayor new life where as AVB completely froze him out and although he does seem to have love Bentalab to much, I still think it's good of Sherwood to bring an unknown into this side and Bentalab has proven to be a very talented youngster. That being said I do want a more experienced manager this summer but if it's Sherwood then so be it, stick by him FFS!!!

Spurtle, we both been banging on that drum all season mate. Lennon is awful, we know this and I'm almost certain most sane spurs supporters know this aswell. If we can get Lamela fit for the final run I would just shove him straight in the team instead of Lennon. A rocking horse would be more effective than Lennon.

My biggest AVB criticism was definitely his fear of the youth squad.

If Timmy had brain cells he'd be quite happy to stay and learn under a top manager rather than take the money and get a job from his fwend at Swindon.

He could become the next Keithy for all we know.
But the difference is that he is not on the staff when Spurs were hitting a real low (1975-77) , as Keithy was.

Don, the drum is almost broken now from us banging on it.

I will say no more on Lennon and just let his performances speak for themselves. Hopefully Lamela is available soon.

I'm a massive Lennon fan... But one of two things needs to happen next season.

Either we find manager to push to reproduce his best form... help him find that spark again

or

He needs to move on to rediscover his spark.

I think he's gotten a little to comfy... It happens to everyone when you been a the same place for a long time.

The 'out and out' winger talent in the world is pretty poor.

In the PL I can't really think of a wide-man who cuts inside that is 'consistent' except for those that are consistently sheit.
