If true then Tim needs to be grateful he has had this opportunity instead of being bitter. He hopefully will learn from it and work with spurs still which will eventually get him a job elsewhere but you do not turn down a chance to appoint a manager like Luis van Gaal. If spurs want to go places then a manager of that caliber is what is needed and he needs to be given time. Would like to see Tim do well for the remainder of the season and if by miracle we get 4th then you could say it's harsh that we got rid of Tim but still he has been dealt a good card by getting this spurs job and should be grateful for that alone

Ruud Gullit has claimed Tim Sherwood will be sacked by Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season regardless of how Spurs finish the campaign.
The former Holland international says it is a ‘done deal’ that current Netherlands boss Louis Van Gaal will take over at White Hart Lane after the World Cup.
Gullit, who played in the great AC Milan side of the early 1990s and later managed Chelsea, also claimed Sherwood was personally responsible for Tottenham failing to sign Luis Suarez before the Uruguayan joined Liverpool.

‘They came to watch him,’ said Gullet. ‘I met Sherwood together with Les Ferdinand, they were Harry Redknapp’s assistants at the time and were also his scouts.
‘They asked me all kinds of questions about Suarez, so I just point blank said: “You have to snap him up, without any hesitation, in a heartbeat.”
‘“Well, we’re not sure,” they said whilst they actually watched him play.
Afterwards they said to me: “Well, we might have got it wrong.”’
“Well, we might have got it wrong.”’
Agree Don. I think he'll want to do well to try and show Levy what he's missing, as well as to advertise himself to other jobs because he won't be staying at Spurs after this.
If that is true then thank feck we're getting rid of Sherwood. Do not want him anywhere near being in charge of bringing in players over the summer.
