Sandy i would put good money on you complaining about lack of creativity and us not being on the ball here on this thread during the game. Yet you big up sissoko for every match cause he runs around

Jose is going to power Spurs to the title using his tried and tested players. Sissoko has been a stand out player this season, even if only for his workrate, and every team needs a player like him. That`s how Jose works. He will not just pick players, cos the supporters want the fancy dan players in the team. Thus far this season, he has been 100 per cent correct with his team selections.
Oh and I like the way he WUMS supporters by not picking certain players.
I would like to see Bale start, but not at the expense of upsetting a winning team. His time will come, as will Lo Celso. It is a long season, and Spurs are competing on four fronts.
Anyway - enough tomfoolery
As posted earlier, maybe some of the defensive players are carrying a knock, so swapped attacking players for defensive?

Yeh a great Spurs win, over a team, lots of opposition supporters said were not up to much. Southampton are not such a soft touch, as they all said they were, when Spurs played them.
Would rather Gio starting for Sissoko but can't really argue with what Jose is doing atm.
Think this will be tight and subs will have a say.

They are 3rd in the league mate. They have been getting results all season. This is Southampton
Bale confirmed illness as reason to missing today’s game. Not Covid related. I knew there was something up because no way does Bale not even get on the bench.

I said in a chat with Don yesterday I didn’t expect Bale to play as doesn’t offer enough defensive cover. Didn’t expect him to not be in the squad though. Couldn’t be an injury niggle, but it has always felt like a trophy signing to me and if Jose feels we have a genuine shot at the big prize he’s not gonna field passengers in his system regardless of how big a name they are.
No Winks in the squad either. Doesn’t look good for him.
