Good win. Shame we had to bring the big boys on in order to get us to play better but I guess Jose knows what he is doing right now.

Jose has no doubt done great work this season but EL has been a stumbling block.
When we had 3 games in 6 days with the Chelsea league cup game in the middle he managed the squad brilliantly then.
EL group stages hes been a bit stubborn with selection, especially with the two players who are rightly not happy.

In the end it hasn’t really, we topped the group. Jose has played the B team pretty much throughout the whole competition so far.

No he hasn't though, ludicrous away he played almost full strength and chucked on r subs at HT against antwerp away. All a bit panic and statement making rather than sense.
We have topped the group happy days but I always am wary of our best players fitness cause so vital to what we can achieve this season. Kane with his new role is more vital than ever to how we play in massive games.
If we going to use some squad players but not others its seems weird the ones he is player other others, no real logic behind it. Our squad is bloated especially with non home grown players, and the two players most likely to be off are youngish English players.

Kane and Son played 30 mins mate. They didn’t play once in some of the other games. You would have a point if Kane and Son started. Seems like you are moaning for the sake of moaning. No harm was done and it helped us get the 2nd crucial goal. Through as group leaders. Job done.

My point is more winks and vinicus being taken off for players who will start our next two, just after we score and they haven't had bad games. Bale was terrible, but why not bring on dele( who should have started instead of Reguilón, starting 5 at the back to begin with was strange and clearly didn't work)

We could sell Winks & Dele along with Lamela & Sanchez, then really go to town with some replacements...

True, that only happened once. Often it was in the act of shooting.
He gets kicked init, or falls awkwardly on an ankle. None of us want anyone injured, obviously, but there's really no sense getting wound up about a player coming on for 30 minutes unless they're exhausted or injured.
I was more annoyed about Vinny getting subbed and the potential injury risk. I don’t think 30 mins of football adds to any burnout - he’d probably be exerting himself as much as he would in a normal training session.
I hope we have the opportunity to take Kane and Son off early on Sunday. Keeping them as fresh as poss for Wednesday.

Jose knows what he’s doing. There’s a reason the guys won multiple trophies and is one of the most decorated managers on the planet. Just let him do his thing and hopefully we can finally see a successful Spurs side

What’s the guarantee of that ? We messed up in our last game. Jose wanted that win and wanted top spot.
I suspect Jose made the subs based on the performance rather than just the score. If we'd been cruising and playing them off the park then fair enough, but it was a rough watch even with Bergwijn on.
