Yes true.

Dier isn't a CB and Rodon isn't fully experienced at this level, so almost like dumb and dumber tbh

Sorry for being so brutal against Rodon as I do think highly of him.

I don't see any continuity in the selection and one thing center backs need is a regular partners so they can thrive in their undertsanding? Jose is rolling the dice and selects on random choice?

I just don't see how you can't know it has to be Toby alongside one other and it's almost certainly going to be more organised and calm back there.

Yes i rate him too but pairing him with Dier is hanging him out to dry. Wouldn't surprise me if Jose is trying to make a point to Levy that he wanted Skriniar and ended up with Rodon.

Tall (Jose's fav trait for a CB), and a leader in the way he tackles and leads the line. Very vocal at times. Can be OTT aggressive but that's another thing Jose likes in his players.

If we had Skriniar we’d still be playing negative football while conceding copious chances. Unless he turned out to be a prime Lucio (it isn’t) we’d still be as disappointing as we are.

Not saying signing him would have solved all our problems. It was more a comment on Jose's behaviour.

He did it at United when he got the hump over not getting the centre back he wanted. Though I think he had already spent big on Bailly and Lindelof.
