Rodon is better than Dier. The more mistakes he makes it will open the door further for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dier had a good game aside from the freak OG.
Give him a break FFS.
He was a credit to Spurs today getting the defibrillator
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah helping to save a life counts as a good day!
It's not just about replacing tired players with subs. When Newcastle threw two subs on with 14 minutes to go you can use subs to disrupt the flow of the game and a team using new tactics.
Even though it didn't lead to much threat in the last 10 minutes that og at the end may not have happened if Nuno had broken up the game by making changes.

We remained in complete control.
Even with the OG we controlled the end of the game. Newcastle didn’t have another chance
It seems a ridiculous point to be discussing after a comfortable away win.
Lot of credit to the team for getting through all that with three points today.
Feels like we could have easily let the occasion/s get to us.

Yeah to the players and Nuno for getting the win.
I thought Dier was fine and an anomalous freak own-goal doesn’t really indicate future performance
Dier has had a good season
But think we should have sold Sanchez and Rodon should be 3rd choice CB, in hindsight. I'm sure the plan us to bring in another going forward with Romero.

No it doesn't but it was comical from him. Ask yourself. Is he the type of CD you want playing with Romero in the long term? He is the weak link and any oppo manager will target him.
It does make sense to try and cash in for Sanchez for the upgrade. Don’t really see the point in Rodon if he gets no minutes
Anyway Ndombele MotM. Really happy to see him get 90 min in a league match for once.
Redknapp talks some sheeeet

Yeahto the players and Nuno for getting the win.

Definitely I thought it would be a typical spursy gift that keeps giving performance.
Really hope Dele is in the pivot with Winks and GLC is further forward. Play GLC in his best position and give Dele a chance as one of the two CMs.
Interesting to see the Craig Brothers on the bench with Markanday.
No one to bail out the first eleven on the bench either. I like it. Puts the onus on the first eleven. COYS
dele in a pivot with winks is a total mess. we will have no control of the midfield whatsoever
not saying Gio is the answer in that role, but it just shows how badly we need another CM. hopefully Sarr is the answer
THFC team: Gollini, Tanganga, Sanchez, Rodon, Davies (C), Winks, Lo Celso, Dele, Bergwijn, Bryan, Scarlett.
THFC subs: Austin, Lyons-Foster, Cesay, Fagan-Walcott, MA. Craig, MI. Craig, White, John, Clarke, Markanday.
VAFC team: Schubert, Dasa, Doekhi (C), Rasmussen, Openda, Tronstad, Darfalou, Bazoer, Frederiksen, Bero, Wittek.
VAFC subs: Houwen, Van Haveren, Oroz, Hajek, Von Moos, Gboho, Domgjoni, Yapi, Buitink, Vroegh, Cornelisse, Huisman.

Agreed but before Sarr I want us to sign another CM in Jan. That will give us four to rotate with throughout the season. Along with a back up striker in January too.

First-teamers coming on at half time to save the match

Good luck with that, none are on the bench.
2-1 loss and then a 1-1 draw Sunday is my guess
