And his loss of form was as much due to our change in formation as it was his injury
We would've won the league.
We lost the league by 4 points. Would Eduardo have made the difference of 4 points? Maybe. Would his injury, and the morale destroying effect it had on the team, not happening, have helped us to get those 4 points? Hell yeah!
I think we could have won the CL that season if we maintained our early season form. Again, that dive by a Liverpool player played a huge part in us losing. 3-2 from the freekick and 4-2 because Almunia went up for the corner, where 2-2 would have sent us through. It would have been possible to beat Man Utd or Chelsea in the final, I think, if we had kept the belief going.
And we would have won more trophies since then, as other players would not have left and more would have come in.
Martin Taylor you absolute
Who knows?
At Birmingham if Ade had squared to Bendtner at 2-1 we almost certainly would have won.
If Clichy hadn't cocked up we would have won.
Who knows what would have happened after the Brum game if we won?
Would the injury have affected the players even with a win?
Eduardo is one of the most clinical finishes i had ever seen. His injury was a huge blow in the 07/08 season.
Imagine if we had stayed good. We might have win things
Imagine if Drogba's offside goal was disallowed at OT in 2010 and Vidic did not get injured in 2011.
We would have won the league 5 times on the stretch.

That's so unlike you, Dog.
It's very rude to correct somebody else's grammatical error. Aren't you ashamed?

No, not at all
I just felt it had to be done, it was bugging me, even though I do make grammatical errors myself.
The of/have mix up is something that bugs me.
Okay Bunburyist, calm down
Btw Dog, you should make one of those 'Best Ja606ers' articles with all the different categories etc. It guarantees 100+ comments, it causes arguments and it's fun.
You're well suited to posting an article like that.
GO!
I suppose I should respond to the actual article, even though it doesn't make sense
I reckon if the whole Eduardo incident didn't happen we would have won the league, we were in such good form and up until then it looked like nothing was gonna stop us. However I don't think it'd have been as bad if we ended up taking the win from that game and Gallas didn't go mental at the end and this could be blamed on Clichy's mistake at the tend which lead to the penalty.
Oh well, we can't live in the past.
Kamran, I ain't gonna let you tell me what to do, I'm better than that
