Pathetic

Grayson would be hammered for signings like Tonge, Drury, Norris, Varney etc.

People have to face the fact that Grayson was working with one arm tied behind his back and he did very well.

LIW- what is? My post or this signing?

Or worse...both?

If you want Prem football you have to pay Prem prices...

Here we are again, writing a player off before he's even kicked a ball for us. Some on this board really make me sick!

But we have "no right to expect prem football" Jonty.

Honestly the hypercritical nonsense that comes out of KB sometimes.

Hope your well Jonty

All's well here Hosforth, and you?

Just resigned to another season of broken promises and let downs at Leeds.

MW, what do you want people to say? That Tonge is a world beater? He's not.

Whats the point in Tongue? We might aswell play Pugh or Thompson.

At Leeds?

Are you sure you're talking about the right club here Jonty?

On a serious note all is well up here- in spite of the obvious

load of bollards, grayson tried to sign norris last summer but he chose portsmouth instead

maybe just maybe warnock could get the best out of him?

Very uninspiring and also shocking we don't have enough talent coming through, so we don't have to loan useless donkeys like Tonge.

Happy to stay on the books at Stoke and be loaned to championship clubs and play a handful of games.

I like Warnock, but he ain't always right with the players he gets in, stinks of SG desperate loan situation to me.

maybe, if, perhaps etc etc etc

We heard the same things with Telfer, Christie, Faye, Dickov etc.

Why do people keep defending this lack of ambition?

I'm with Frank, Grayson has recieved alot of undeserved critism for his signings, when it is colear that he didn't have much choice. I still believe he did a great job from start to finish at leeds!

To have ambition Jonty you need money.

I really don't think Warnock would choose Tonge over Jenas/Danns if they all were the same price.

It's just always the cheap option.

When was the last time everybody here got really excited by a transfer?

Austin and Schmeichel perhaps?

How many dross signings have we had inbetween them?

When we got kenny in.

With nw he spent half a million and got kenny with sg we got Pugh....

Anyone with a brain knew that Grayson was working off scraps and wouldve prefered other players, that goes without saying

This signing is a typical Leeds loan signing, no ambition at all but when all is said an done it is all NW can afford to bring in....all comes down to 1 man in the end, Bates

Danns, Jenas....or Michael 'f-ing' Tonge....you couldnt make it up

Variyen (?) Keogh Rachubka Paynter Forsell

I could go on.

Not a very inspiring signing if true.

I'll back him until he plays badly though.

And Anyone with a brain would know a better manager that had players like

Becchio, Ross, howson, bj, songrass would got us up.

3 of then are in the prem one scored 19 goals who he missed managed and the other one will be the next one sold to a prem club, would got us up.

meme

I think you hit the nail on head.

Warnock does not have long term plans for this squad, if he fails to get us promoted, where does that leave us?
