Nothin beats One Tree Hill or 90210. Prepare some tissues after watching though
In Breaking Bad you want the anti-hero to win and he does, quelle surprise
----------------------------------------
I completely disagree. Walter's gone beyond the point of anti-hero at this point, he is essentially the show's main villain. I and most people I know that watch the show don't want him to win anymore either. The show has been outstanding for that, it's done a complete 180 turn on your own perceptions of the show's very structure

Walrus...
Breaking Bad took long to get going??
In comparison to the Wire??
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You know I'm not saying that..! You have to watch the first four episodes of the Wire before you have any idea what's going on! But the first season of The Wire was brilliant, the 2nd one a bit meh and seasons 3-5 were great again. For me seasons 1-3 of breaking bad had some good moments, but large parts were just not that interesting. The last two seasons have been much better imo, now that the characters have developed.

Could not have put it better
I'm not sure that's the show though, he's not a particularly likeable character to begin with, except when he's talking about science. I'd argue Jessie's character is much more interesting. I'm not trying to do Breaking Bad down here - I enjoy watching it a lot. I just don't think it's as good as the Wire.
Breaking Bad, a TV show with too much cancer and meth to watch.
Breaking Bad is quality. I love the character development in there.
The Wire is possibly the most overrated TV show of all time.
I'm into season 3, and I'm still bored out of my wits.
Boardwalk Empire is one you should check out though. Pretty sick show.
Boardwalk is a good TV show
Best steer clear of The Big C then.
Good show, but hard going sometimes if you've ever lost anyone to cancer.
at the moment nothing, just finished watching entourage allthough that really wasn't a true comedy.
my favourites of all time are:
peep show, arrested development, inbetweeners, community and 30 rock. of course anything by gervais and merchant.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Peep Show , Inbetweeners , Community - not seen Arrested Development or 30 Rock yet... will do
Gervais and Merchant though... all their material is 'awkward' humour retold in different formats - bit tedious for me
give Archer a go if you haven't seen it
Idiot abroad is the only good thing with Gervais in, because he's hardly in it at all.
Curb your enthusiasm is the best comedy for me.
Beloved Aunt is classic!
Dubbed
But then you said Boardwalk was good... when it's even slower and more boring than the Wire
Arrested Development was brilliant.
the little green man > everything else
going to get criticised for this but for me possibly the most over-rated show is 24
first season was okay but the characters are infuriating and the plots get ever more ludicrous
Season 3 and 4 of the Wire are the best for me. Although 1 becomes so much better when you rewatch it. There are just too many characters on first viewing that you cannot keep up.
I can think of a thousand better. Try Touch and Awake was good for the one season it was on, no idea why it got cancelled.
In order
Sopranos
The Wire
Game of Thrones
Alan Partridge
Grimm

An opinion is an opinion I guess. Even if yours is wrong.. hehe
The thing I probably like most about BB is its knack for getting the main characters into a seemingly inescapable predicament, but managing to get them out of it in a clever but PLAUSIBLE way
