Jenkinson plays for Finland U-21.

They have the likes of Lalana and Sterling in there. Can't take England seriously.

Ox is brazillian

He refused a call up to the Finland National Team so he clearly wants to play for England, he played for the U-17's but I guess he didn't believe at Charlton he would ever get called up to England, but at Arsenal he has way more exposure

Well I don't think he has much chance for England because of the hype surrounding Walker. Johnson is undroppable it seems and even Richards can't get in.

Sterling is a good player, unplayable against Sunderland today.

hes played 3 times for finlands U21s

Jenkinson's English you idiots, he's just eligible for Finland as well.

He's done nothing to deserve an England call up.

Apart from play well every time he's played for Liverpool.

I'm not sure on the rules, I know he can still play for the Main team but is he now ineligible for the England U-21's
Also he is only 20, so much room for improvement so no reason why after a few years he couldn't challenge for the RB as none of those guys have made the spot there own like Ashley Cole has at LB

I am being rather abusive aren't I?

Dubbed, what's the difference between Ox getting called up and Sterling getting called up? The lad is clearly a brilliant young talent so no reason he shouldn't be in the squad.

how many times is that? while players like dyer, sinclair etc have been playing well for a few years.

Ox hasn't really done much either. But he's been plying his trade for more than a season now.
Streling's had 4 games. WTF is that?

IMO neither should be in the squad when their are wingers that have been playing well for years that dont get called up, the only way you get called up is by playing for a top 4 or the media sticking out your arrrse

Not convinced Jenkinson can become a first-choice for England.

Well maybe players like Dyer and Sinclair deserved to be called up as well but I think Sterling has justified a call up. Like I said, he was brilliant today.

jenkinson has had 4 v good games for us this season, does he deserve a call up? on the wing we have, young, milner, downing, dyer, sinclair, johnson, walcott etc etc etc that all deserve a call up over sterling.

It's good to see especially players like Wilshere and Gibbs who came through the academy and Jenkinson who is a Gooner. Gibbs' family are Arsenal fans and his grandad was a scout for us.

I wouldn't say he's had 4 very good games. He's been solid but he doesn't look England quality, Sterling does.

Dogwalker
Sterling is just another Walcott. Don't see the fuss.

Sterling has more talent than Walcott tbf but that's not difficult.
