I guess Rooney at £20m + was worth it

rooney was a good deal at 25 to 30m

also ferdinand was value for money considering how long he has consistently performed at the top.

Cole to Chelsea was a great deal for them which strengthened them and only weakened us

Adam Johnson was really a steal by City. Would love city to give us Adam Johnson + 20m for Nasri.

Gary Hooper for celtic (£2.5million) last season?

Outscored £35 million Carroll the year before in the championship and had the best strike rate of any striker in britain last season.

Cole to Chelsea was a great signing as was Lampard for £11 million, both more than repaid their transfers.

2006: Cole from Arsenal to Chelsea for £5m + one stroppy Frenchman.

In hindsight, an absolute STEAL!

Smalling for £10M was a bargain IMO. Also the £30M spent on Rio was well worth it.

It makes that 60,000 we paid for Perry Groves look like even better business.
