He is worth whatever someone is willing to pay him, simple as that. If we value him we will offer him a suitable financial package. If he feels that offer is not good enough he will look at other offers.
I personally agree with our chairman about having a strong ceiling to such financial packages as I do not want to go through what we've gone through in recent years. We cannot be held to ransom by players, if they are not happy to stay on the club's sell them.
These players have flourished under the banner of LUFC and should show a bit more loyalty.
