Couldn't disagree more. I remember the old days when Gazza moved to Lazio and i started watching his progress. It nearly put me off football for life. So fuçking boring it's unreal. I couldn't wait for it to be over so i could turn over and watch Southend against Aldershot in the Endsleigh league.

My point is, you were wrong to make sweeping statements about an entire league based on your encounter with one team. It would be like judging the whole English league based on Chelsea's displays last season.

Scottish league probabaly does too redrob doeant make it any better.
Sheriff ok ok fair enough i was wrong to say the whole league play the way Lazio do ( which was unly at best). But they have dropped behind Germany, which is why they only get three places in the CL. If that was the EPL we would be asking ourselves whats wrong.

Not sure i'd start Townsend over Bale yet, although I would be tempted to move him to left back. It doesn't help he's double-marked in almost every game, at LB he'll get the space he needs to do damage. Not sure if AVB will do it though.
Serie a is an awfully dull league. Just look at the attendances, the championship is better attended!
It's also pretty low on quality, the bundesliga is now a better and more entertaining league.

I have been a bit of a critic of Bale recently but I thought he had a fairly good match today. I seem to be alone in feeling this way though....

I thought Bale was alright considering when he got the ball three players were quickly around him, that's probably what gave Lennon and others more time on the ball.
Forza I think Kompany is mustard too. By the way I think I over reacted earlier about Italian football, maybe I expected a bit more skill and less fouling from a team that ( along time ago) took Gazza from us.
I thought they were classic Italian in their organisation.
And for an away leg, against a team that have had the likes of Bale and Lennon mauling the Milans, can you blame them.
