heard or seen nothing myself.

He got a bit over excited and fell from the top tier to lower on the away end when Bolton scored. Decent drop and he was carrying a large amount of timber so he'll have felt it.
He walked away after a bit (with some medics and cops) and seemed ok if a bit dazed.

Hillsborough is cursed.

Ohh that's bad taste.

Is that your perspective erno?

posted on 22/9/12

I think that would be the general perspective

posted on 22/9/12

I guarantee you're correct. I was just curious if it was YOUR opinion, or if you felt obligated to type what you did because you felt it was expected of you.

posted on 22/9/12

It was bad taste. Don't think we can disagree on that..

I personally don't think so mallorca. But I do recognise that I'm in the extreme minority, and I knew that before I typed it. It's a bit pathetic having to monitor what we say before we say it, in case we commit a social faux pas.

For you to give a comment so much thought makes me think you know what you typed.. That's down to you.

I'm not a judge and I'm not gonna moan about it. Just thought the Owl was fully entitled to say his bit...

I'll leave it at that, not fallin out with you bud..

I would call it 'insensitive'.

Not the best week to make the comment, maybe !!!

Nah I know MT. I thought about it because it seems impossible to comment about anything controversial without considering a backlash, which is saddening.

But I don't know why Erno as a Wendie has any right to comment. His team/fans haven't suffered one iota in regards to 1989 or even today. In fact, the human error of the people representing his club are the people to blame. Build a proper stadium, with proper security for the fans.

wow
I live more or less on the door step of the disaster, I see the families come back year after year to lay fresh flowers. Have some respect you nob.

The ground has come miles since, it's totally safe now. That fan fell because he was leaning over the barrier to goad our fans

BBS

Seems best to stop now.... It's a flippant comment that's got the ability to grow into a silly article..

Enough eh.. 3 points, let's enjoy.

Professor, good to here from you again. Hope all ok sir...

Here / Hear

I'm ashamed!!!

posted on 22/9/12

What point are you making? I have complete respect for everybody affected by it, but you as a Wendie aren't one of them. You pretty much typed the contrived nonsense I was expecting.

posted on 22/9/12

Ashamed at what MT?

posted on 22/9/12

My here and hear mistake fella.

posted on 22/9/12

Ah. I am going to leave it here though - As you say, it has the potential to become a complete mess.

No offense intended erno.

posted on 22/9/12

What are you on about? How is calling you out for disrespecting the disaster contrived? Unless of corse you believe in a curse at the ground?
In which case, I'll leave you to it.

posted on 22/9/12

See, you didn't even read what I wrote. I didn't once direspect, mock or degrade anything to do with the disaster. I share the same opinion as everybody else, that it was a genuine tragedy.

What I alluded to is that your ground is utter garbage and that 2 pretty major occurences at 1 single location is more than coincidence.

posted on 22/9/12

The second incident being a man falling over a railing? What do you propose to replace the railing? Fencing? Barbed wire?

posted on 22/9/12

ps: You disrespected the guy that fell today by assuming he was goading fans. That's poor taste. But I'll let it slide, because I'm not a whiny baby.

I watched him fall
