The problems is, Van Persie, Nani and Valencia cannot counterattack. They are only effective when we dominate possession. And seeing as our midfield can't do that we can't threaten the Liverpool goal.
BB, hardly. We are struggling with possession. Each time Rio lost it, Liverpool swarm all over us. At the very least, he should give it back to the keeper.
Nani and Valencia have been kak - more so Nani.
Watch it when our defenders have the ball, no outlet what so ever.
scholes or anderson for giggs
Doubt Liverpool can keep the energy up in the 2nd half with 10 men which should help us
*should at least

I'm glad we have defended well for the first time this season.
Could do with an actual three man midfield - get Kagawa to drop deep or bring on two midfielders.
scholesy will come on 60th or 70th minute imo
Vik is bang on, Scholes for Giggs and give us some control in midfield, make them do some running!

He has played deeper than I have seen him in the other games this season.

Bull! VAlencia and NAni are very effective on the counter attack, the problem is they need some to set them free with the initial ball and then attack with them and provide support. That person is often Rooney dropping in deep, or Scholes with a great pick. Unfortunately Carrick and Giggs are too slow when they get the ball or can't pick out the pass.
rdknapp is going to be hilarious now
nani and valencia can't counter attack? lol
TBF Evans has gone in off the ground too.
Both players lunged but Evans got the ball first.
Rafael, Evans and Rio have been flawless defensively. Evra out of position as per. Giggs is just Giggs. Nani has failed in everything he's attempted. Valencia just doesn't try anything at all - brainless. Kagawa given zero support and Van Persie is strangely doing his best to be a left winger.
Get Giggs off and Anderson and Scholes on and we'll see a stark contrast in possession and energy, allowing us to get the ball to our attackers.
When was the last time Valencia and Nani were involved in a counter attacking goal?
Sky Sports link preferably
btw.... I tot kagawa was meant to help us with possession? how is that going?
