Pretty good still in my first season as Valencia and just got Mertens (who is really really good) and Canales back from injury.

Anybody here bought Holtby? Thinking of signing him for a central midfield role. Also need a younger version of Arteta who is now in his thirties.

Given up on this mode. It feels as though results are out of my control. I will lose regardless of how well I play. The AI will score when they want no matter how well I defend.

Why the feck can I keep 5 clean sheets on the spin and have no problems in defense and then go on a run of 5+ games where I concede a ton of goals? So weird.

thats whats putting me off really getting into a career mode, there isnt a medium between world class and professional.

Just signed Greizmann, Holtby and Eriksen. Just need a centre back and a kid left back and I'm sorted.

Sold Mikel for £20.5 millilon to Inter Milan. Bit of a shame because he was a beast, was at 88 OVR, but would start agining in two years and I have Swift coming through. Currently line-up like this:

Sturridge, Mata and Hazard are great. Hazard is essentially Messi without the Messi bonuses like his finishing and shooting and free-kicks. Abate is lovely, he's so fast

*Anyone know if Felipe Ramos is a real 'keeper or a regen? Got him from Deportivo as a replacement for Cech. He's 27 years old at the start of my 4th season. And he has hench throw trait

I went to Bournemouth's 4-1 win over Oldham at the weekend and it persuaded me to play with Bournemouth for a while. Great fun!

The player growth is ridiculous if Mikel can get to 88 and Sturridge 89. Felipe Ramos is real I believe. Not played CM in about a month now, still annoyed about the way the game plays.

In a way that's a good thing because if players are playing well i.e scoring 20+ goals a season their overall should increase a lot. I like the mode overall but the gameplay is a p take, may have to downgrade to professional and then win every game 5-0.

Players go down too easily for me

They go down a crazy amount when they're 30 plus. Seen players drop about 10 pts in one season. Players like Ibra will drop like a stone and be about 70 overall in 2 seasons lol.

Yeah don't like that, TBF I thought it wasn't so good in earlier FIFA's how a player could continue to play until they retired if they were starting and doing well. Player growth on loan is abit erratic as well.

If you are playing as Chelsea in career mode, are the board quick to sack if you underperforming? I’m going to try manage Chelsea and see how long I last

Going to finally start a manager career mode today. What team should I pick? No big teams, I'm hoping for a small team with decent funds so I can build up a super youth squad.

I think Newcastle or Everton would be great pick
