I think players regress a little too quickly when they get to their later years, though. After 2 seasons I wouldn't expect Di Natale to be low 60's.
Going to try and avoid any financial takeover as well. I'm not sure I'll be able to resist though..
From what I've seen on MGH and Calfreezy's career modes player growth seems a little bit forced and not actually too dependent on performances. But I'll wait to see myself. Anything's better than on FIFA 11 where they literally didn't grow at all.
Not true on my career mode at all. Players sky rocket if they play well, hardly progress at all if they don't play and progress a little if they play every now and again.
I'd say 'sky-rocket' is a little ott, but it's definitely a lot better than before, where you could win about 7 motm and not get a single raise in attributes. Depends on form, my Jack wilshere went from 85 to 83 cos I kept subbing him.

I think that's a bit excessive. I know players can really increase quickly in real life too, but I think increasing by anything over 5 overall in a season is a bit much.
His overall was a 70, he went up to a 78 in time for the summer.

If they are starting and do well they can grow well past their 'limit'. Sturridge is a 91 for me and Hazard a 95.
It's always a bit depressing when you go from playing with a first team where 4 of your players are over 90 to a team (Acc. Stanley ) where half your first team just about edges 60. And the drop from nearly a billion in transfer budget to 25 grand. But then that initself shows that it'll be more rewarding when I get Stanley to the PL
And while I did not succumb to the takeover, I have already gone for the 'scout a superstar' option.

Lol how? You can only do one a season and my 3 1*/1* scouts probably wouldn't have found a guy this good for ages. Getting takeover would allow me to get a whole squad of good youth players I might do that in a few months, try and make a team of just youth players.
