One does not simply play Diaby for 90 minutes
He's a regular for me, but the 1st team needed a rest.
Paloschi and Eriksen earn us a 2-0 win at Bremen.
Stuttgart could really do with taking Unnerstall on loan again, their best one (67 rated) is injured and they're playing a 52 rated keeper (although he is 6'8'', acrobatic with 4* skills)
And it's another 2-0 win. They start well and spend a lot of time attacking without creating any chances, before Paloschi volleys home Arnautovic's cross on the counter. Their keeper makes good saves from Paloschi before Clemens makes it 2-0. The only chances they created came in the last 10 minutes, they hit the bar but it wasn't enough.
Just checked some stories from the last transfer window, 'Pepe turns down Wigan Athletic move' and 'Dani Alves turns down Stoke City move'
What's your defence, Andrei?
Thinking of going for a Tasci and Wollscheid centre back pairing, Jung on the right and possibly a Marcell Jansen or some other fairly pacey, high stamina full back.
Preferably German.
Preferably of the Aryan race.
Definitely no Israelis.
Yossi Benayoun can fook off.
Mignolet 85
Uchida 79, Hoewedes 88, Papadopoulos 86, Fuchs 79
Hoeger 81, Neustaedter 80(?)
Pretty much the same as when I started, but higher ratings. Sounds good SKA. For LBs I'd recommend Kolasinac who's now 76 rated, he's a good defender and physically strong. Although he is of Bosnian descent so not exactly Aryan. Jordan Lukaku seems like a good bet if you get him early. He's black though, so that may be a problem for the Eintracht regime.
Denmark have quality LBs. Wass is right footed and I play him as a RB, Boilesen is brilliant. Both got nice blonde hair as well.
Might resume my Blackburn Career
My defence is finally playing well btw. Already got 6 clean sheets in the league and we're not even halfway through the season. Only got 9 in total last season.
Cue - 4-0 loss to Augsburg
Andrew follows European football moderately closely.
Gonna look for a German left back then I'll look up your suggestions.
Augsburg aren't all that. Dusseldorf are the new kids on the block
Decided to give some different players a game in another friendly and we thrash Russia 6-2. Bjelland scores headers either side of Larsen's strike to put us 3-0 up early on. Cornelius gets on the scoresheet before Panchenko and Cheryshev score for Russia. Cornelius has a penalty saved but then scores twice to complete his hat-trick
Hungary somehow luck out to beat us 2-1 after Eriksen had opened the scoring. Their goal came from my attack which was looking dangerous until it passed when I told it not to, then I defended poorly on the counter. Not sure how we didn't get an equaliser either. Only a friendly though.
Will look Kolasinac up, then.
Ooh, up against Freigburg now. Up against Ginter and Caligiuri, both of whom I am interested in.
2-0 derby win at Dortmund Well deserved, we created the better early chances, Arnautovic twice forcing Weidenfeller into saves. Reus' header was kept out by Mignolet before Clemens hit a great shot across goal to give us the lead Weidenfeller saved from Eriksen and Mignolet denied Gundogan and Kuba, and Huntelaar sealed the result with a cool penalty Papadopoulos even preserved the clean sheet with a fantastic double block stop Bender scoring.
SKA I would stick with Oczipka, he's not bad. Rausch, Schmelzer, Kolasinac are good.
