Could go defensive against Dortmund but I've decided to keep with the same attack oriented approach.
I will live and die by the same sword.
Suddenly the reason for Dortmund's woes becomes clear, their team:
Langerak
Piszczek Kverkvelia Subotic Schmelzer
Kehl Leitner
Kuba Bittencourt GroBkreutz
Schieber
Very weak compared to their main squad.
Oh God. Bournemouth smashing me to pieces. They're 1-0 up.
I can't get a clean shot away.
Boring 0-0 first half. Their keeper made a terrific save, my keeper made a terrific save.
Other than that, not a whole lot has happened. Frankfurt are content to sit deep when not in possession and Dortmund are content to just keep hold of the ball and not try anything risky.
Theo comes on at HT, provides the impetus with some good dribbling and slips Nico through.
He keeps a cool head and slots it home.
Survived some early scares in the box to comfortably beat Napoli in the CL. After hitting the post van Ginkel and Paloschi both score, and Meyer makes it 3-0. They get a shocking goal back, Cigarini's header should be cleared by Matip but it loops onto the post, Matip should clear again but Cigarini gets there first and Matip helps his shot into the net 3-1 FT, our path to the next round confirmed.
Raffael returns to the Veltins Arena with new team Wolfsburg. Prib gives us the lead and we're going well but Perisic equalises with their first shot before the break and Diego puts them ahead after the break. Paloschi quickly brings it level but we can't find a winner. Unlucky 2-2.
Oh wow. Bournemouth absolutley cut me open and score a great goal.
Think Rooney Vs Barcelona in the CL final.
Dortmund brought on Reus and Gundogan for the last 10 minutes.
I had to go ultra defensive and held on to a 0-0 draw.
Trapp had a great game and it's now 7 unbeaten and a third clean sheet in a row. At least 3.
Bournemouth hold on for a 2-2 draw, time for me to get some late dinner.
That draw leaves me in 3rd on 17 points.
Schalke are on 18 and Bayern are on 19.
Dortmund in 4th are on 13...
That is having played a game extra, as well.
I know I don't have the squad size to compete for the title so I'm willing on Schalke to beat the Bavarians.
A couple of fook off spreadsheets
Eriksen won't play again until the new year, out for 4 weeks And Arnautovic will join him on the sidelines with an injury from training
We travel to Hannover for a 2nd vs. 3rd encounter. Mignolet and Zieler made impressive early saves from Gabriel's header and Meyer's volley. Royer's cross hit the post and Neustaedter couldn't take his chance. In the second half though, Huntelaar provided two clinical finishes, getting on the end of passes from Hoeger and Caligiuri (not one of the brothers, scouted) and guided the ball expertly into the net. Mignolet and Zieler made great saves from powerful shots late on to keep it at 2-0.
That means at the halfway stage in the league the title is there for the taking. Still a couple of games before the winter break though.

Celtic in the final CL group fixture. Will rest some important players as we've already secured first place in the group, but still want to beat them
Weakened team falls behind to a lucky 'Hooper' goal (his chip somehow finds its way in via a combination of post and Schwadorf but we respond with 5 goals before half time from Paloschi (2), Kongolo, Caligiuri and Prib. Brown gets one back for them in the second half to make it 5-2, Caligiuri hits the bar from close range and Moritz makes a great block. We top the group in style
We twice take the lead at Hamburg through Meyer and Paloschi but Ilicevic hauls them level both times (even if Hoewedes nearly did it himself at 2-1 with a header against his own bar). Paloschi's late headed chance was straight at Jung Sung-Ryong. 2-2.
Frankfurt very lucky to get a draw there. They got a penalty for absolutely nothing, Uchida gets to the ball first and apparently it's a foul. Meier converts to give them the lead. Hoeger scores for us but Matmour puts them straight back ahead. We get a penalty of our own when Jung blocks off Meyer and Paloschi scores. Rode scores a headed rebound to make it 3-2, so does Huntelaar for 3-3. Should've won.
Going to buy Higuain in the summer TW. Need to keep it realistic to maintain interest in career mode.
RVPM would be more impressive if you signed him before we did in real life and gave him the correct shirt number, just saying
feck shirt numbers. never get the obsession with them.
if a player is good enough, he'll make it his own. this and the number 1 shirt for a goalie are the only time i am interested in shirt numbers.
