Melton showing off his fine footballing knowledge
kagawa was in the ESM(european sports journo's) european team of the year last season
A massive problem for City are your fans. You are all too nice to your club and seem to have no expectations or pressure on your team. Most managers would kill for that.
You have spend half a BIllion quid and with that what should be success rises. It's no excuse to say only 6 weeks in, only second year bla, bla, bla. How come this isn't affecting other clubs?
You should understand that I'm not attacking City for spending that money, nor the club. For me it's good to watch, but you should demand more with it and City fans don't seem to. Seems you are so used to failure anything that's slightly less than failure is ok. It's like you're all on smack.
That game was pathetic with that squad and Mancini should have got it in the ear at the end, instead it was all smiles.
I personally would have got rid of Mancini last year, even with the win for how he almost blew it. He's failed for his resources in my mind.
they replaced Kagawa with a far better player in Reus.

I'm honestly in disbelief at people doubting the penalty
If you run out to block a shot 6 yards out with your arm fully extended sideways you can't just say 'oops, apologies. What was that doing out there. My deepest regrets it wasn't intentional and I'm very, very sorry I just blocked a shot that probably would have been an equalising goal from 6 yards out with my fully extended, perpendicular to the ground arm ."
You can see why Kagawa was so good for them. He suits them so much more than he does us, although he has been good for us too.
It's going to come down to the Dortmund - City game on matchday 6......the week of the Manchester Derby.
I love the city fans who just cant say that United have actually bought a very good player in Kagawa. Was he Dortmonds best player, not sure but put it this way they wouldn't have won back to back titles without him. But they have done the right thing with the money, bought a really good player and it really showed tonight. At least you didn't say he's only a shirt seller like binky

---------------------------------------------
Exactly what I was hoping for when I first seen the fixture schedule.
mancini had a brilliant squad last season and was moaning about not buying etc. De Jong out rodwell in he is like rafa and the whole barry thing
today he kept tevez on the bench, whats he thinking??
I've already said I got confused with Bundesliga player of the year! The point is the same though, losing Kagawa was bad for them, but they either had or have got players that or similar if not better quality. Their games against Real should be very interesting.
agree melton, dortmund are set up to play away from home, actually think they could win at the bernabeu
Let's hope we can qualify with a few games to spare. Would be very beneficial to have fresh legs and City to have weary ones in the derby.
Fergie will still probably pick Giggs in midfield to combat Toure though.....
Good thing Castle you not anywhere near City management.united were close to sacking Sir Alex but held on to him and allowed him to change their club.Mancini is trying to do the same albiet with millions at his disposal.
Thats why Wenger is still at Arsenal with 7 years without a trophy, 14years in total because football coaching is more complex than the stuff you talking about.
Dortmund wouldnt be were they are if they hadnt placed faith in Klopp.
So do I mate, Real are beatable at the Bernebau and I think Dortmund set up in a way that can cause them problems. We didn't help ourselves tonight though, wrong starting formation and a bad change in the second half. We needed more bodies in midfield.
Wenger is at Arsenal as he's doing well spending nothing and the only club spending within it's means and at the same time have built a stadium they paid for not handed to them.
Fergie was a totally different era.
Should Chelsea have Kept Ranieri? What would they have won now?
Should Inter have Kept Mancini instead of Mourinhio. Was their board wrong?
You will continue to spend and do 'nothing' in Europe with him
Rodwell is pants
I'm still baffled why he was bought and even more baffled why he'd play in a match like this. He's actually worse than he was 3 years ago and he's only 15 years old.

Rule is that the handball has to be deliberate. This is a fact you cannot get away from.
Just because many fans, like you, have a different perception doesn't change the rulebook or the laws of the game.
However you want to sugar coat it, handball HAS to be deliberate in the officials eyes to give a penalty.
And that was not deliberate.

Rodwell is useless,as is javi garcia.Maicon has been a shadow of his former self since bale ripped him.
He only every had 2 or 3 good seasons in his whole career.
>>And that was not deliberate.
If he didn't want his arm hit, he wouldn't have stuck it 3 feet out to his right. Fully extended.
Seriously. If that had been Carra blocking a Nani shot (before he dived to try and win 2 penalties simultaneously) you'd be starting online petitions about the problems of referee incompetence.
It was a penalty every day of the week and thrice on Sundays
