I have been checking sky sports news every 10 mi utes expecting to see it in the banner but still no joy
Can't disagree with any of it other than the title which does put us in the bracket of a Blackburn fan...
I think the Chairman should walk, but I don't think he intentionally sets out to be a 'numpty'...
Evening Benny, anoying afternoon that pal thought you were going to blow a gasket when their winner went in pal.
Sorry MT Gartslime is a well paid numpty and he makes my blood boil.Wish I could have that mans job,he dont care, bloomin nice job though!.
Gotta agree with MT, don't really think its fair to call him a numpty. He was a genius when we were doing well.
As for having a nice job, so what, he has worked damn hard to get there. I think this issue is the manager, not the board. It's a bit unfair to say Gartside doesn't care. He has devoted 25% of his life to BWFC. He'll know what to do.
ive still not forgiven the man for the carling cup ticket fiasco.i think gartside got really lucky in getting sam in when he took over.im sure gartside cares very much but he has been an absolute disaster since 2006.
Gartside can only be blamed if he does act before it is too late
Things can only get better, as the song goes.
Unless there are no changes in management.
Then, just as we thought a couple of weeks ago, things will get worse and worse.
Too late 12 months ago Petrov, the mans a Parasite!.
Hey I have been fighting the good fight for a long time
Can we all sit here and say "Gartside shouldn't have listened to the public and the fans screaming for Coyle" and "I was against it from the start"???
His mistake was 12 months ago. His next was in the summer... A third (now) would be an absolute disaster and boarding on incompetent.
Coyle should be sacked tomorrow. And yes, these decisions happen on a Sunday... Big Sam left on the same day. The start of the end of the club as we know it.
Realistically who do we bring in?
Last season I touted Heirro and Laudrup but that wont/cant happen now.
So I will plump for realistically like say Reidy with Phil Brown as number two.
sort of fooled into believing we had turned the corner at sheffield and looked at our next 4 fixtures where 4 wins looked quite possible.well 3 games in and 1 draw 2 defeats,do we have to get the pitchforks out to get coyle sacked or what?
reckon billy davies and julian darby favs.
Billy Davies and Peter Reid.
Contract til the summer with incentives. I'd have Brown as a number two, but he wouldn't accept that.
Oh & I'd employ a defensive coach. You know, someone like Steve Bould. He's good enough to work under Wenger.... Campo.......?!
Nb: Yes, he scared me too, but he's learnt from Big Sam and Real Madrid.!!!!!!!! He knows more than our current manager!!!
MT
Wanted Heirro n Campo last year, but it aint gonna happen now really.
And dont mention DEFENSIVE COACH like I did last year fella the uneducated will attack you pal!.
That's why I mentioned Bould..
If Wenger can accept he needed to address a problem, why can't we...?! Ego!!!
"the uneducated will attack you pal!."
Where do I start!!!!
its ok coyle will turn it around.after all holden will be fit soon.
Gartside should definitely be having his position reviewed however lets not forget how much easier to get rid of a manager it is than to get rid of a chairman. If binning a chairman was so easy Ridsdale would have been out of Leeds long before he could cause the damage he did.
On a different note can we lose the comments like "the uneducated will attack"? We're all hurting lets not turn on each other. That road leads back to the dark days of Megson and although there have been some heated debates we've not gone that far yet. Think we'd all rather it stayed that way.
Why is Davies mentioned?
For me ts
Reidy.
Reidy with Browny would appease me at the moment, yes will take that in a heartbeat.Lets not kid ourselves its just for the short term though lads.
Loved Reidy,he was my fave player as a kid!.He will bring structure, respect and pride back to this team hopefully.
I expect to see the pitchforks arrive at Gartsides seat against Bristol City. Owen Coyle will still be manager by then as per usual he will have had two weeks to ponder his faults then come to the conclusion he is doing a good job and its only the players faults and any fan unhappy is an idiot who does not get football.
Back in July or so, I predicted Bolt on would struggle in the Championship after 9 games, and that it would certainly not be as easy as many were saying.
Well done, my hammers.
Nobody likes a smart ass, or a west ham fan, though.
