I think you'll find it was much closer to 30m we paid for Kagawa.
I think he's a good player, but I can't understand the signing - just not what United needed, and he can't show his best attributes shunted out on the wing.
I like him. It's good to see some more Japanese players in Europe. I always had a soft spot for Nakata way back when and thought the far east had a lot more to offer.
The Bundesliga is teeming with east Asian talent.
Anderson > Kagawa > Fabregas
Kagawa must be flop of the season so far
£17m
I think Borini's been a bigger flop but I get your point, really underwhelming.
I havent noticed Kagawa being brilliant or useless but he maybe looks underwhelming because all the other big clubs have bought players in the same position and seen them make a big impact already
Give him a year to decide whether he's been or but the hype has so far not been justified
I'm still not sure tbh. Is he a flop because he is not good enough or because ManU system doesn't suit him?

Like I said above, I agree that system doesn't suit him. And to call any player a flop after 7 league games is stupid to be honest. It's actually articles like this that give our board a bad rep.
Cazorla has 2 in 7, Kagawa has 2 in 5.
MonDieu
Cazorla has been class because everything we do goes through him and he manages to be penetrative while maintaining possession and stretching the opposition team... his two goals have been added bonuses
Kagawa's goals have shown his ability off the ball but he hasnt really dictated play which is what some expected from him
Anyone that expected Kagawa to dictate the play with so many other talents in the side, so early in his Man Utd career is as big an idiot as the OP.
Spoken like the Man utd fan you pretend not to be
The hype for Kagawa was huge but now its all died down, why is that? After the Everton game someone even made a highlight reel of every pass and touch Kagawa made... the OP is an obvious WUM btw
Arsene is doing a great job to get Cazorla, Podolski and Giroud this off season. They are not the best and neither the most expensive, but they fit into the system very well. Even Giroud does not score much so far but his presense is really helping the team a lot.
Kagawa is not a flop, but he needs more time to adjust to the system obviously. We haven't seen his best yet.
Kagawa is a shocking footballer. Even Cleverley looks better
Not at all. It takes more than 6 games to work out whether someone lives up to the hype or not. slagging off a player after a sixth of the season is moronic
And to think that I envied Man U when they bought Kagawa my bag!
I must never forget the old mantra.... "In Arsene we trust!"
