The guy makes some good points. It's ridiculous if we still allow:
-McCoist to get paid £1million+ a year (£20k a week)
- give every coach and executive premium healthcare, generous pensions, six weeks holiday, exotic cars, free fuel, appearance fees and other perks
-Give 45 employees a free motor!!
-pay directors to attend matches and get free food.
These benefits should be available if McCoist gets Rangers to the CL knockout stage and the club turns a healthy profit in all departments, but if we are losing money then the directors should be the first ones to cut back.
They should be either covering the losses or getting out finding revenue sources that will.
This year it has become brutally obvious that Rangers, for all that it remains my club, is a business in the eyes of the law and if run poorly the business has to close.
We need to run the club like a business and I hope that Green is doing this.
To be honest, the evidence suggests he is. The cancelling of the JJB deal was smart, Sports Direct cover half that money and we will more than make up the difference from any shirt manufacturer deal.
The purchase of Edmiston house is good too and the plans for it sound promising.
Time will tell whether Green is good or bad, no amount of bluster from us will alter things in the short term so we need to weigh up whether or not we want to disrupt everything for years to rid ourselves of Charles Green? For me that is not the path to take at this moment.
So when's Levein getting the boot?
This requires a manager with experience and relationships well beyond Western Europe.
He is stating that they need a manager with experience of emerging markets.
BIG question is where is the money from the share issue going?
When Fergus floated Celtic and had a huge shareholding which he ultimitely sold to Desmond etc he walked with the money but left the club in a strong position.
If the unknown shareholders walk with the cash fromthe upcoming issue then what funds the rebuild
A manager with experience beyond Western Europe - why would they come to Scotland?

DC call it what you want but the sentiment is absolutely correct.
Players like Wanyama, Izzy, Kayal, Ambrose etc are hardly household names but all seem to have been a success in the Scottish game with players like Wanyama now being touted for Man Utd.
Thats the markets that we need to scour. Guys like John Park is invaluable to Celtic. The inference is that the same is needed at Rangers so that the £10m needed to get an average player in the EPL or similar could be a quarter of that in an emerging market...

Rtc has been blogging again and on this very subject. Suggest you take a look. There are some serious obstacles for a share issue.
Westend - fair enough - I seriously doubt any of the points you listed are still in place. Clearly these were the figures seen by the author pre newco & pre cva.
Mordor - yep - and can you name just one who would come to manage in the SPL, never mind anywhere else. Anyone like that is going to be managing in Germany, Spain or England.
Scotcelt - don't you go worrying about us The Rangers will always be there
Very refreshing honesty scotcelt <ok€
Will do mordor , I thought he had wound it up
Please do everything you can brother to ensure McCoist is still at the helm if you get back to the top division

Excellent article recounting the demise of Ragers FC.

What about tying in with clubs? What about providing coaches or even academies for clubs? He is saying this is where the money should be sent as opposed to the previous culture of massive remuneration for anyone working for rangers.
Wee bit off topic but why did Pep leave/sacked Barca?
Give us your take on it ibrox.
Lot of pash mordor . These guys were paying 11.2m which is twice what green paid. Perhaps that's why their numbers didn't add up.
Green has come in and cut costs. Wage bill down from 30 m per year to 6 m per year .
Most of the financial "facts" were based on last seasons figures.
It's neglecting to take into account the fact that the primary outgoing - the wage bill, has been slashed by 400%.
All other incomes are down, but I don't think anyone would be as naive as to allow outgoings to exceed income, now that we're on an even keel again.
We don;t have bank debts, we don;t have our Season Book smortgaged off, we don't have a shirt deal which makes us no money because it was front-loaded, we have new opportunities with sponsors
In a business sense, Green got Rangers for an absolute steal, and given the fantastic numbers turning up to see the team week-in, week-out, it's nigh on impossible to put the club anywhere near where Whyte took us
It too Rangers going into administration for the rangers support to actually beleive he was a bad un.
They lapped up everything.
Remember the Rangers fans protesting outside the BBC in support of Craig Whyte after the original documentary in November.
Round of applause for Charlie. The first guy at rfc to not spend money he hasn't got. Wages slashed= players that you couldn't afford have moved on.
Happy clappers fc.
