If the club is paying for itself why the need to rush through a share issue?
Cant spend anything for 18 months so why float a third division club when it could be a club set for promotion to the 1st division with no league reconstruction or an SPL one if somthing happens in the interim.
Maybe Green just wants to win the financial accounts race he brought up and wants millions just sitting in the bank ,there is likely nothing sinister at all

Remember when we had a tie-in with that Japanese Club... Shenzen Jinliabao or something. They had an orange and grey shirt with the Rangers Crest on it...my wee bro had it. Also i've got an orange tshirt somewhere with We Are The People, the Gers crest and the Shenzen crest on it.

Apart from the quality leisurewear i dont think much came from the chinese link.

This requires a manager with experience and relationships well beyond Western Europe
--------------------------------
This does not necessarily mean a foreign or non European manager. Just someone with contacts. Maybe read things properly before rubbishing what is a very sensible article.

I know it's a difficult concept but just because he's American doesn't mean he knows nothing about football or business for that matter. IMO it's a good article that makes a lot of good points.

Did no one twig as to why we were seeing so many Celtic DVD's released about that time??

It all makes sense when you think about it...

Good read that article and can't really fault its suggestions.

The retort from rangers though is more aimed at the way its been reported in this country. The headlines and the stories in our papers seem to have been spun so much that they bear little resembled to the article I just read. Once again im glad rangers are no longer letting these things pass without comment.

One surprising point though was that rangers sell more mercy than Celtic. Thought that would have been the other way round by a fair distance.
