Assume you are rotating it so it is landscape?
Nooooooo because then you can only see like 10% of the screen.
Never had a cell phone...never will have! I am not at at all lonely and enjoy my privacy!
I have my touchscreen phone, a 5" dell streak and a 10" tablet.
The tablet is the hardest to type on for me. The dell is what I use most and its perfect.
I was tempted to by the streak when it first came out but I went for a Galaxy S instead. I would never buy another Dell phone though, there customer support is so bad! What do you use the tablet for?
Honestly, I just don't bother trying to comment via smartphone or tablet.
Watching my serials on the bus up/down to/from Uni.
I originally had the Dell as a phone so have had it 3.5 years now.
Best thing to do is switch your auto-spell off. I had the same problem with my iPhone 4S, but at times the auto-spell is quite useful when you can't be bothered to correct your spelling misktakes.
I have an S3 and my old HTC Desire HD had arrow buttons as well as a full qwerty. Was much easier correcting on that. But yeah, the S3 keyboard is pony.
turn off auto correct, for starters.
if it helps, you can switch the keyboard to old skool style, numbers and letters.. eg, 1,A,B,C
ps - do you have sausage fingers?

Please don't say you are one of them weirdo's who takes a tablet into a lecture and attempts to look cool while trying (and failing) to type notes on it? I dislike those people. The streak still working? You must be one of the 10 people who bought it. Dell should at least give you a free laptop!

How are you typing on an iPhone? Got to be the worst and smallest keyboard ever that thing!
Im pretty sure I said it was for "watching my serials on the bus up/down to/from Uni".
The tablet is an Arnova G10, the cheapest I could get at the time with one important function - the ability to read USB pens.
But you are taking it to uni, you might be tempted...
Taking notes in a lecture
Lectures
For the weak
Aside from that its a piece of shít, theres a reason why I use the Dell Streak around the house...
No Ive never been tempted, I dont even like watching it on the bus as series like Spartacus have sëx scenes...
@Chelsea,
I missed one lecture in my entire first year and only because there was a lecturer strike so only one class went ahead...
I've missed about 20-24hours of lectures from the 36hours i've meant to have been to so far. Missed all the tutorials. Still ahead.
Undergraduate maths SEM1 is a joke.
Im doing Maths too, 2nd year
I did maths and further at A level, and they're trying to catch up all the students to the level that I finished at. Did you do further, was your experience similar, how did you survive?
I learnt the other day that the driver of a bus can kick you off for watching pörn on a bus. When do these rules get announced?
The square on the high pot is news?
@Chelsea,
Im a mature student, last did Maths 14 years ago, no Maths A-level, no further Maths.
I had to do an Access course to get onto the degree but I just had to turn up to get that, way to easy.
My first semester was a real slap in the face, me and my fellow Access students struggled big time with only two of us making it through the first year.
I averaged a 1st-class honours mark (72) but I worked like a trooper to get that.
Oh, okay, you came in from a standing start then so to speak? Or had you done a lot of preparing beforehand?
Hardly the same, I know, but I did my GCSE in maths early, then dropped it for a year, then came back to it and really struggled for a few months, before clawing it back. That gap in practice caused me problems. Now, i'm coming off the back of 3 years of mainly application, but a bit of theory (above and beyond the a level course material which is mostly bleeding accountancy ) and it's not difficult.
Mainly i'm finding that they're teaching me stuff i've already covered but with more onus on proof and language.
