Not even a standing start, the A-level students in our year were way ahead of our level. I didnt know what to expect so I didnt start working until week 2 but then I was having weekly appointments with a couple of the lecturers to go over assignments and attending multiple tutorials for each subject.

Big shock to the system.

51% of my class failed 2/3 exams in their first semester.

What year are you in?

I'm doing first year, i'm 20, i'm sure that it will get difficult quickly but right now it's a joke. I have been going to lectures and leaving half way through because they're teaching me things I simply already know, and had to demonstrate that I knew to get into the college.

Calc 1
Linear Methods 1
Numbers and Functions 1
Geometry 1 - this one is actually quite interesting.

I had a split of Applied/Pure/Stats with the Applied being rock-hard.

The lecturer is a Russian genius but he expected everyone to just understand what he was talking about all of the time.

Well I can't wait for some stats and mechanical modules, because chances are i'll have covered them as well stats is my favourite anyway. Statistical algorithms

Hey, stats is my subject too, Ive always been interested in it from early in the Access course.

First year was so much theory but now my Stats module is computer-based and involves project work.

I want to be an Actuary but if I end up in something else Stats-related I will be happy enough.

Swiping is meant to be a pretty accurate way of typing. It works on an S3 I think so you could try that for names tho you'll have to add them manually to the dictionary

I only have a cheap galaxy ace but don't seem to find it much of a problem, obviously not as quick as on my laptop but not a major problem, maybe some of you have huge sausage fingers.

My brother used to do that. He said it was REALLY boring. He does company auditing now.

Try 'SwiftKey'. More then worth buying, it's superior to stock android keypad in everyway. Learns from your Facebook, email, previous texts, remembers commonly used phrases, long hold for symbols and numbers, auto space between words, it's easily the best I've ever tried (tried many, many on my Galaxy S3)

Rage

I tried it a few times but I just don't like it
