Fair point I could have made myself clearer I just automatically assumed that people would remember Ade playing against us for city
"Brad was definitely at fault re first goal."
Can he really be blamed for the first goal considering the speed at which the ball was coming at him and the slight deflection?
Gallas and Caulker(or was It Vertonghen?) was part to blame for not marking Cahill adequately.
2nd goal was another Gallas mistake, but how did Mata's shot not get blocked with 2 or 3 players coming at him to try to block It.
Not sure why Mata was left that much space on the end of the pen box in the first place.
*on the edge of the pen box
On the first goal..............I wont moan at Brad for not stopping the shot as it was pretty rapid and it did take a deflection but I will say that he should have not allowed Gallas to concede the corner as it was easily close enough for him to catch it............I've said it many times but Brad simply does not command his area and allows too many chances which could have been avoided

Chicken don't be so utterly ridiculous
Alienating a player because he is not playing? So every manager in the world must alienate at least ten players from his squad who don't get regular minutes
========================
How is it ridiculous? Its 100% true. AVB did the same with Alex at Chelsea & it cost them big time.
Our CB's have been at fault for the majority of goals this season (& we can also include Walker in a few), but he still sticks with an aging Gallas & a rookie, in Caulker.
I find it quite "utterly ridiculous" that you cant even see it.

I dont recall Tom Carroll ever being a regular starter, in the Premiership or for Spurs. Or that he has stats to prove he is one of the better players in the squad in his position.
Can you enlighten me on this?

To be fair a defenders job is supposed to be stopping their opponents not bailing out aging centre defenders who cant make a decent clearance.
The first goal in particular, any coach or even a rookie manager knows the instructions to a defender heading the ball clear. High, far and wide is the term used but what did Gallas do ? Well we all know he headed it to the worst possible place a defender could have done, right into the middle of the penalty area.
That was cut and dried his fault as much as the Mata goal was that Gallas cleared to the edge of the area.
Sorry but Gallas was dreadful on Saturday (not for the first time) and is simply no longer good enough for a team that has aspirations of getting into the top 4, full stop.
