Our best player against Chelsea was..

I though Defoe was our best player, closely followed by Azza.

As much as i'm positive about AVB starting Dempsey on the left didn't work against QPR so why he thought it would against Chelsea is beyond me. Still, after the way we came out in the second half the players are obviously playing for him.

Lloris has to be our first choice, we couldn't ask for a more reliable backup than Brad and we're in danger of wasting him.

levy needs to have a quiet word to remind AVB how much lloris cost.

Do you guys think Brad will stay at the club beyond this year? I can't even see him making the bench next year, he will be 43-44? That's ridiculous, i think Gomes should be given the second keeper spot, before you all laugh, he is a good keeper just hasn't got the concentration to be our number 1.

The problem is whereas at Chelsea AVB had no problem leaving out senior players like Lampard, he seems to be reluctant to do it at Spurs, I suspect for fear of the press jumping on him like a ton of bricks. It seems very reluctant to leave out either Friedel or Gallas. I think he needs to make some big decisions soon, and forget about the press.

Lennon was class Bluedroog

If only he got given the ball more and the amount of time the little man skinned a player then ate the ground up on the break only to pass it to Demps or Sigg to hold it up

While Hudds was good Defoe and Lennon where outstanding

I did enjoy watching Hudd. He makes those 20 yard passes look very simple at times even if it involves going passing over an oppo player to find his man

Bahamas - I thought he looked off v Panathinaikos too. Not avoiding the ball, just not making himself as readily available as he usually would. It'll come, he's been out for the best part of 2yrs barring a few games here and there.

Still remember Inter and Chelsea in 2010 - wonderful dominant games with him and Modders in there

I said it before - I want him to get a game with Tom Carroll. I think they would compliment eachother very well. Livermore is ahead of Carroll though unfortunately

That's because Carroll has the frame of a small child.

How many goals

I just couldnt understand why Huds was covering the LB position. Was Vert playing on the wing, was he out of position, was this part of the plan to get Vert forward, with Huds covering?

It all looked a very weird shape at times.

No LM Chicken, that's why. Verts was doing what Benny was doing at the start of 2009/10 with Modric in front of him. Hudds and Palacios back then, Hudds and Sandro on Saturday.

Unfortunately Siggy and Dempsey aren't a patch on Luka

Bahamas - Carroll did ok in the Europa last season, little uns are much better protected. Not saying give them a game together in the league, but maybe Thursday nights
