Hope he goes. Will be well shut of that from the EPL

John Terry has won the double
Not the end of the world,
Can't be racially abusing any1 and not expecting this,

I hope this is true, not just for us, but also for him.
For us. He is close to the end of his career. While still a great defender, there is no denying his ability is diminishing. This will also push the club to sign a top quality new cb, something I feel we need.
As for him. He may have the mental strength to handle the abuse, but his wife and kids deserve better. If true, he would be making the right decision to move them abroad and Valencia is a fantastic place to live.
If this story is true, I wish him the best of luck and will always remember how lucky we are to have, in my opinion, the greatest captain to ever grace the game and one of the greatest defenders england has ever seen as part of our history. Legend.
JT to Madrid new manager bored of RDM and sent Hazard and Oscar on loan then bring in Messi and Falcao come on Roman
The club should have backed him and not fine him especially since he not found guilty of racially abusing the af in a competent court of law
I do not believe this story for a second, considering the precarious financial state of Valenia coffers, i doubt they could afford to pay Terrys transfer fee let alone his wages.
As for people complaining about Terry being fined, why wouldn't Chelsea fine him? He's brought disgrace onto the club, racially abused Anton Ferdinand, fined by the FA, stripped of the england captaincy. If all he got was a fine, he's doing well.
And please don't come back with; well he was found not guilty in a court of law. The fact is JT called AF a FBC, he admitted so himself.

Did the club tell Terry to plead guilty ?
I don't see it...JT at Valencia....no
Chelsea boy through & through...he might go to the states at some stage like Lamps in January..but anywhere else in Europe..i don't see it
What sw6 said. And even if Chelsea were willing to sell on the cheap, Valencia aren't in a situation to pay the hefty wages you'd expect Terry to be getting.
This aside, but why do people speak as if Terry was a spent force? 31 really isn't that old for a CB, much less for one who's never really relied on pace. I don't follow Chelsea enough to know how far his form might have dipped, but a patch of poor form would hardly be surprising given everything he's had to worry about in recent times.
Considering Chelsea welcomed JT not appealing his fine, i'm sure the powers that be would have been happy for him to accept responsibility much quicker than he did.
Don't get me wrong, JT has been a loyal servant to the club, the one player you can usually rely on to put his body on the line for the team, for the fans and for the manager. But even the most blue tinted fan most realise how awful JT's on and off field events have messed with Chelsea's PR.
I would like to think the club's further punishment is to warn him about his future conduct, another mis step and they should strip him of the captaincy e.t.c
The same heiracy sacked Tommy Langley from Chelsea tv cause he dared to question an AVB line up !
Happy to say they have reinstated him. Mostly due to fans reactions

One of the most sensible comments on this sorry saga.
In law the verdict is guilty beyond reasonable doubt and when you inject a reasonable doubt as he did it should not be possible to find him guilty, and that is what happened. The F.A. do not have that burden and rightly found against him.
I love Chelsea but JT is not Chelsea, he is a player employed by the club to play football and represent the club on and off the field, paid well I might add.
Because he performs his playing role well should be irrelevant in this instance, he has clearly let the club and himself down, he should have been sacked and those who defend him should be ashamed.
As for his current form. he has never had pace as a defender but he has always had the ability to be in the right place. Lately he has been throwing his body around a lot as I see compensating for that failing ability. His abilities as captain were always missed when he didn't play but when I look at the recent games without him I don't think we missed him.
I don't think we would miss him and I don't think we need a big name defender to replace him, we have the person on loan right now who could do a very good job without the negative baggage that JT has.

Or our midfield is getting overrun
Don´t believe this for a second.
More media BS.
Why would Terry leave the club he loves to go and play for Valencia ?
No offense to Valencia but they´re not exactly pulling up trees these days and they have big financial problems.
TCP
Your right and that's because despite the undoubted attacking skills they have, their defensive skills leave our defensive midfielders exposed especially when Ramires bombs forward. There needs to be some cohesion between attack and defense, we need to go forward and back as a unit with players filling positions as they appear. Unfortunately you can take 3 or 4 players out of that equation and that leaves gaps that will get exploited by pacey teams.
